Kavaliro is seeking a Network Engineer to support a client in Doral, Florida. The role involves designing and defining system architecture for new or existing computer systems, acting as a subject-matter expert for network routing, switching, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include reviewing system additions and enhancements, deploying and maintaining network hardware, and providing problem and incident resolution, including vendor support. The position requires 8+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment like Cisco ISE and Cisco DNAC, a current CCNP Security certification, and working knowledge of VMWare/Hypervisor and Windows Operating Environment design documentation.
Must have:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Cisco networking equipment
- Current CCNP Security certification
- Experience with Cisco ISE
- Experience with Cisco DNAC
- Experience with VMWare / Hypervisor
- Experience with Windows Operating Environment Design Documentation
Good to have:
- Experience implementing DISA mandate solution for Comply-to-Connect
- Experience operating or migrating to IPv6 environment

Roles & Responsibilities
- Designs and defines system architecture for new or existing computer systems
- Act as a subject-matter expert to network routing and switching, as well as network performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Review completion and implementation of system additions and/or enhancements and makes recommendations to management and/or clients
- Deploy and maintain network hardware, peripherals, services, and settings in accordance with industry standards and project/operational requirements
- Provides problem and incident resolution, including dealing with software and hardware vendor technical support
- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science or 8 years + of relevant experience.
- Required Experience: 8+ years of hands-on experience working on various Cisco networking equipment/appliance to include Cisco ISE, Cisco DNAC, etc…
- Technical Certifications required: Current CCNP Security
- TECHNICAL SKILLS: Required: Working knowledge and hands-on experience with:
- Cisco ISE Cisco DNAC VMWare / Hypervisor Windows Operating Environment Design Documentation
- Preferred Skills: Hands-on Experience implementing DISA mandate solution for Comply-to-Connect. Hands-on Experience operating and or migrating to IPv6 environment.
- Doral, FL
- This position is onsite and there is no remote availability
- Active Secret with ability to upgrade to TS/SCI if needed
