Product Manager

VIBES.technology is looking for an experienced product manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for the realization of our software products, the successful implementation and use of our in-house software solutions at our customers, which are leading (car) manufacturers and suppliers worldwide.

At VIBES we are developing software and technology to reduce sound and vibrations in products like (electric) cars. This has a big impact on sustainable mobility of the future. With the VIBES-method, we predict vibrations with the help of test- and simulation-based models. With our unique software, our customers like BMW, Hyundai, Volvo and ASML acquire high-quality results in an efficient way. It allows them to work flexibly and intuitive. Next to that, VIBES is active in scientific research and development, for which we are internationally recognized.

Your main responsibilities

• Be the center of a range of stakeholders; you work together with Software Developers, the R&D Department, Commercial Stakeholders and Management Team to translate business and technical requirements into a product roadmap and workable backlog;
• Motivate and inspire the scrum team by communicating both a short- and long-term vision and keeping track of the development progress;
• Identify and document detailed condition of satisfactions for User Stories;
• Managing the backlog of our products and prioritize tickets to ensure incremental business value over time;
• Participate in internal testing and engage with customers to validate deliverables and drive product iteration towards long term vision;
• Create demos for the various stakeholders;
• Communicate release plan, project status and deliverables to stakeholders in both oral and written style;
• Create analytics to measure success and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

Who are we looking for?

• A technical background, meaning a Master’s degree in (Mechanical) Engineering, Computer Science or comparable;
• At least 5 years of experience in product management in a technical environment;
• A strong understanding of Agile development tools and knowledge of the full software development lifecycle;
• Strong business sense and understanding of priorities linked to company strategy;
• An active listener with strong interpersonal skills to communicate with various stakeholders from different backgrounds;
• An excellent communicator, both in written and verbal form, with the ability to present to bigger audiences;
• Capable of prioritizing and managing your time and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment;
• You are located in the Netherlands and possess a valid work permit.
