Job Description

TVH France is recruiting a Purchasing Agent to join its team. As a Purchasing Agent, you will be responsible for sourcing parts for production and sales, conducting studies to identify causes of sales loss, and finding new suppliers. You will also manage relationships with local subcontractors, monitor orders, ensure on-site stock management, and actively participate in the modification and assembly of kits. You will also contribute to the alternative parts development team.

Must Have:
  • Ensure the supply of parts necessary for production and sales.
  • Conduct studies to identify causes of sales loss.
  • Research and identify new suppliers.
  • Contribute to the identification of parts and their proper management throughout the procurement process.
  • Manage relationships with local subcontractors and monitor orders.
  • Ensure proper on-site stock management to guarantee product availability.
  • Manage the complete supply of kits and actively participate in their modification and assembly.
  • Participate in the alternative parts development team.
  • Purchasing manager training and/or significant professional experience.
  • Knowledge of mechanical parts, specifically liftgates.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in office IT tools and ERP logic.
  • Ease in interpersonal relations and professional communication (verbal and written).
  • Good level of English.
  • Organized, curious, and information-seeking.

Your Missions

  • You ensure the supply of parts necessary for production and sales. In this context, you conduct studies to identify the causes of sales loss.
  • You are also responsible for researching and identifying new suppliers. Finally, you contribute to the identification of parts and their proper management throughout the procurement process.
  • You manage the relationship with local subcontractors and monitor orders.
  • You ensure proper on-site stock management to guarantee product availability.
  • You ensure the complete management of kit supply and actively participate in the modification and assembly of kits.
  • You participate in the alternative parts development team to diversify our sources and improve our products.

Your Profile

To succeed in this position, you must have the following skills and qualities:

  • Purchasing manager training and/or significant professional experience.
  • Knowledge of mechanical parts, specifically liftgates.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience.
  • Proficiency in office IT tools and ERP logic (ideally knowledge of NAVISION ERP).
  • Ease in interpersonal relations and professional communication (verbal/telephone) and written (emails).
  • Good level of English.
  • Organization / Curiosity / information research.
