Carpenter Marsh Fac is seeking a Quality Specialist in Bogotá, Colombia. This role involves analyzing data and trends to identify interactions needing immediate attention, mitigating operational risks, and minimizing errors. The specialist will provide quarterly reports, offer recommendations, ensure compliance with internal procedures and local regulations, standardize data loading, validate banking data, manage TPP approvals, support pre-placement, update training manuals, schedule training, and work on special projects/audits. Must have:
  • Analyze data and trends to mitigate operational risk and minimize E&Os.
  • Provide quarterly reports with findings, corrections, and improvement areas.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and local regulatory requirements.
  • Standardize regional data loading for consistency and error reduction.
  • Validate banking data for new entities.
  • Present Contracting Conditions Agreement and Global Disclosure Policy.
  • Mediate TPP approval process, provide training, and send expiration alerts.
  • Support pre-placement by anticipating operational impacts in meetings.
  • Update training manuals and quality control processes.
  • Schedule recurring training programs.
  • Work on special projects and internal/external audits.
  • Professional background in engineering, administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, operations, or customer service in insurance/brokerage.
  • Knowledge of processes, metrics, and functions.
  • Deep functional knowledge in customer service and quality standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Intermediate English level.

We will count on you for:

  • Analyze data and sample trends to identify interactions requiring immediate attention, mitigating operational risk, as well as minimizing the frequency and severity of E&Os.
  • Provide a quarterly report of all findings, corrections, and areas needing improvement to the responsible department director. Also, offer useful ideas and recommendations through data analysis, providing training, meetings, and creating informative materials to maintain an educational procedure that helps in the preventive Quality Assurance process.
  • Ensure that all assigned country teams follow implemented internal procedures, as well as local regulatory requirements.
  • Standardization of data loading in the system at a regional level to obtain consistent data. As well as the reduction of errors affecting data quality.
  • Anticipate the validation of banking data for new entities.
  • Presentation of the Agreement on Contracting Conditions and the Global Disclosure Policy.
  • Mediate the approval process for new or renewed TPPs. In addition to providing training on the matter, send alerts informing of TPPs that are about to expire.
  • Pre-placement support - leverage space in local meetings with the business and operations team to anticipate issues that may impact our operation.
  • Update training manuals and quality control processes - it is the team's responsibility to keep our material always updated with possible adjustments made during the year.
  • Schedule training - update the training program, including topics that require recurring training.
  • Special projects / Internal or external audits - QA will be selected to work on projects defined as priorities by our COO or by LCPA.

What you need to have:

  • Professional in engineering, administration or related fields.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in quality, operations, processes, claims, customer service or related areas in the insurance, reinsurance or brokerage sector.
  • Previous experience or knowledge of processes, metrics, functions, etc.
  • Deep functional knowledge in customer service and quality standards.
  • Knowledge of Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Intermediate English level.
