Safety, Health and Environment (EHS) Manager

The Health, Safety, and Environment (EHS) Manager is responsible for leading the strategy at the plant, ensuring compliance with local legislation and corporate standards. The role combines strategic planning, operational support, and technical leadership, including chemical risk management as a Duty Holder.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and implement the annual EHS strategy.
• Monitor EHS objectives and goals aligned with legal and operational requirements.
• Coordinate risk management programs (chemical, ergonomic, waste, noise, etc.).
• Lead internal and external compliance audits.
• Provide technical support to all areas of the plant.
• Manage occupational health together with the plant doctor.
• Drive continuous improvement projects, especially in energy consumption, waste generation reduction, and water consumption.

Why YOU?

Your qualifications:

• Engineering (industrial, chemical, mechanical, or related) with a specialization in Safety and Hygiene.
• More than 5 years of experience in EHS management in manufacturing environments; desirable experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Knowledge of local legislation, management systems, risk assessment, waste management, ergonomics, chemical agents.
• Ability to influence, effective communication, change leadership, teamwork, flexible thinking, people development.
