The Senior Director of Social and Influencer Marketing will lead the Salesforce global social media and influencer strategy, driving brand and product awareness, engagement, and community development across multiple platforms. This strategic role requires a visionary leader who can turn social media into a powerful channel for corporate and product storytelling, customer connection, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel social media and influencer strategy aligned with Salesforce's overall marketing and business objectives.
- Manage a team of 18 social media professionals, fostering continuous learning, creativity, innovation, and strategic thinking.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, communications, product, and executive teams to deliver a social editorial calendar with consistent messaging and company representation. 
- Oversee social messaging, content creation, and curation across LinkedIn, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and emerging social platforms. Maintain strong partnerships directly with all social platforms. 
- Get hands-on with Salesforce products to find compelling ways to educate and demonstrate new product capabilities with the right audiences on the right channels. 
- Manage the Salesforce global employee social advocacy program and influencer program, regularly onboarding executives & employees and measuring the impact of the program on reach and lead generation. 
- Oversee social listening and social community engagement strategies to understand and respond to customer sentiment, industry trends, and market opportunities.
- Scale multi-media social creative and guidelines via strong agency partnerships and a center of excellence approach, using Canva and the latest generative AI tools to support social teams across the globe. 
- Concept and execute integrated social media campaigns that showcase Salesforce's thought leadership, product innovations, and corporate values. 
- Provide regular KPI reporting on social media performance, share of voice, ROI, and impact on brand perception and business outcomes.
- Manage crisis communication and reputation management on social platforms.
- Drive innovation in social media storytelling, continously assessing and testing emerging technologies, vendors/partners, and content formats.

Qualifications:
- 10+ years of progressive experience in social media strategy, digital marketing, or product marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of building and leading high-performing social media and/or marketing teams
- Deep understanding of social media platforms, emerging trends, and digital marketing technologies
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; MBA or advanced digital marketing certification preferred
- Experience in CRM, CX, or enterprise B2B technology marketing is a significant plus
