Job Description

The Senior Sales Manager role focuses on driving new business growth for Razer Gold in Japan. This involves developing strategic customer relationships, maximizing sales and managing profits, setting performance targets, and identifying new business opportunities. The candidate will be responsible for managing sales cycles and expanding relationships with existing accounts. The role also involves working closely with a strategic partner in Japan to expand the Razer Gold Japan wallet, developing long-term partnerships, opening distribution channels, coordinating local marketing activities, and analyzing weekly activities for optimization. The candidate should be self-motivated, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have a passion for PC and Mobile games.
Must have:
  • 5+ years of sales/business development experience in the payment industry.
  • Track record of successful channel acquisition and business development in Japan.
  • Strong understanding of gaming and digital content landscape.
  • Strong network of contacts in the payment service/games industry.
  • Proficiency in English language required.
Good to have:
  • Japanese language skills.

Job Responsibilities :

The Senior Sales Manager role will drive new business growth for Razer Gold in Japan through the development of strategic customer relationships. This role requires formulating and implementing strategies to maximize sales and managing profits, driving business development and setting performance targets . The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, managing sales cycles, and expanding relationships within current existing accounts too.
  • Work closely with our strategic partner in JAPAN to run and expand Razer Gold Japan wallet.
  • Develop long-term partnerships with the assigned merchants/contents for the benefit of both companies.
  • Responsible for the opening of channels to drive distribution for Razer Gold as well as the onboarding of new game/entertainment contents together with our strategic partner in the JAPAN region.
  • Formulate and implement an account penetration, -management and -growth strategy and plan that maximizes sales and profits.
  • Drive the business development to develop performance targets for key merchants/contents.
  • identify business opportunities and work with team to capture the business opportunities.
  • Able to work independently to manage Razer Gold Japan wallet.
  • Coordinate local marketing activity with our strategy partner in JAPAN
  • Analyse and report on your weekly activities to identify potential optimization.

Pre-Requisites :

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field with minimally 5 years of experience in sales/ business development in the payment service industry.
  • Track record of successful channel acquisition and business development, especially for the Japan market.
  • Strong understand the gaming and digital content landscape and partners across PC, Mobile and Console
  • Strong network of contacts in the payment service and/or games industry.
  • Proficiency in English language required, Japanese languages skills will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with partners as well as management and peers.
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and a passion for PC and Mobile games.
