Job Description
This Senior Software Engineer role focuses on DevOps, requiring a degree in Computer Science or IT and at least 2 years of experience in a CI/CD environment. Key responsibilities include proficiency with CI tools like Jenkins, GitLab, and Azure DevOps, strong understanding of GIT, and experience with automation and scripting. The role also demands knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, along with expertise in XML manipulation, UNIX, and RDMS operations. Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills are essential, including the ability to train and mentor team members, and an understanding of the financial market.
Must have:
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology Engineering or related discipline
- Preferred At least 2 years of experience in a CICD environment
- Proficiency in CI tools like Jenkins GitLab Azure DevOps and others
- Strong understanding of version control systems such as GIT
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies eg Docker Kubernetes Jenkins etc
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to train and mentor team members
- Knowledge of technical machine specifications
- Knowledge of XML manipulation
- Knowledge of UNIX Operation
- Knowledge of RDMS Operation
- Understanding of the Financial market
