Cadence is seeking Field Sales Professionals with expertise in Aero, Thermal, and Acoustics, particularly within the Automotive market. This role focuses on presenting, deciding, and implementing Cadence CFD solutions, which combine multi-physics, robust geometry-to-results processes, Design Optimization, and Machine Learning. The position also involves leveraging Cadence's unique Millennium M1 CFD supercomputer offering. The Account Executive will collaborate with Cadence SST CFD Application engineering and Product Management to engage with customers.
Must have:
  • Identify prospective companies and connect with decision makers
  • Conduct discovery sessions and identify challenges and opportunities
  • Understand individual prospects, customer goals, and group requirements
  • Effectively qualify revenue opportunities, addressing challenges, budgets, and timeframes
  • Work with field technical team to deliver specific solutions
  • Build client relationships and become a trusted advisor
  • Demonstrate value of Cadence CFD solution, negotiate and close business
Good to have:
  • CAE/CFD background
  • Familiarity with Automotive industry (OEMs and TIER suppliers)

Cadence is looking for Field Sales Professionals familiar with Aero, Thermal and Acoustics in all industries, especially the Automotive market. Cadence CFD offers a combination of state-of-the-art solutions encompassing multi-physics, combined with a robust geometry to results process in an environment that leverages Design Optimization and Machine Learning. Also encompasses our unique Millennium M1 CFD supercomputer offering, providing an optimized end-to-end platform – hardware and software.

In this Account Executive role, you will be working with Cadence SST CFD Application engineering and Product Management to engage with existing and developing customers in the presentation, decision and implementation of Cadence CFD solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify prospective companies and connect with the right decision makers
  • Conduct discovery sessions and Identify challenges and opportunities where Cadence CFD can help solve
  • Learn and understand of individual prospects, customer goals groups requirements
  • Effective qualification of revenue opportunity within prospective customers, including understanding and addressing customer challenges, budgets and timeframes
  • Work with field technical team to deliver solutions specific to each prospect and customer
  • Build client relationships and become “trusted advisor”
  • Demonstrate value of Cadence CFD solution, negotiate and close business

Skills and Experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business or related.
  • 6+ years of Sales experience, a person who has CAE/CFD background are preferred, person who is familiar with Automotive industry (OEMs and TIER suppliers) are preferred.
  • Previous experience building customer relationships with successful track record of achieving personal and regional revenue targets YoY.
  • Ability to leverage skills and knowledge of people around you
  • Demonstrated ability to solution selling
  • Understand and strategize based on the competitive landscape
  • Excellent communication skills – oral, written and presentation
  • fluent in English for leading collaboration with internal partners
  • travel: up to 50%
