Job Description
The Technology Expert – Systems Engineer (Nutanix) provides expert advice and assistance, including technology watch, architectural considerations, risk and gap analysis, and adherence to standards and best practices. They elaborate design and vision documents, consult with stakeholders, and handle the design, installation, and configuration of technologies. Responsibilities also include operating client IT services based on agreed service levels and internal policies, providing 2nd and 3rd level technical support, and creating and testing standard operational procedures. The role demands implementing, configuring, administering, monitoring, and maintaining IT systems for secure, reliable, and efficient service delivery.
Must have:
- Expert advice and assistance in Nutanix System engineering.
- Elaboration of design and vision documents.
- Design, installation, and configuration of technologies.
- 2nd and 3rd level of technical support.
Job Details
- Provision of expert advice and assistance, technology watch, architectural considerations, risk analysis, gap analysis, applicable standards, solution patterns and best practices in the area of Nutanix System engineering
- Provision of technical studies
- Elaboration of design documentation, with consultation with stakeholders
- Elaboration of vision documents focused upon Systems components
- Deliver the design, installation and configuration of these technologies
- Operate client IT services according to agreed service levels, ITSM best practices, internal policies and procedures
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level of technical support, register and troubleshoot incidents and escalating to external parties
- Creation and testing of standard operational procedures – backups, restore, monitoring etc.
- Implementing, configuring, administering, monitoring and maintaining the client IT systems to deliver a 24/7 secure, reliable and efficient service for client CMS and the whole organization
