Bosch Rexroth Canada is seeking a Warehouse Group Leader for a 12-month contract. This role is responsible for all production picking and related activities within Warehouse Operations, ensuring timely material delivery to manufacturing and service value streams. The leader will support Warehouse Lead Hands, oversee staffing levels, and collaborate with Production Planning and leadership for smooth operations. Key responsibilities include supporting inventory counting, monitoring warehouse activity using SAP, implementing continuous improvement, achieving daily productivity goals, controlling operational costs, and ensuring a safe working environment. Must have:
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, shipping/receiving
  • Previous supervisory and leadership experience
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and focus
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Computer literacy with Windows and MS Office
  • Completed Diploma or Degree in a related discipline
  • Excellent people/interpersonal skills, ability to develop others
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
Good to have:
  • SAP ERP system knowledge
  • Familiarity with hydraulics and automation products

Job Description

  • Responsible for all Production picking and related activities, within Warehouse Operations, supporting our Manufacturing and Service value streams
  • Responsible to ensure that materials are delivered to production value streams on time
  • Support the Warehouse Lead Hands
  • Oversee staffing levels to maintain throughput and production changes throughout the day
  • Support and collaborate with Production Planning and Production leadership to ensure smooth operation of value streams
  • Support of inventory counting requirements
  • Monitor Warehouse Activity Monitor utilizing SAP
  • Seek and implement continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain Departmental Continuous Improvement Processes initiatives
  • Ensure daily productivity goals are achieved
  • Control operational costs, while maximizing productivity
  • Special projects and other duties as required
  • Ensure a safe and productive working environment

 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, Shipping/Receiving, required
  • Previous supervisory and leadership experience required
  • Maintain a positive, collaborative attitude and focus
  • Strong leadership skills with sound decision making abilities
  • Computer literacy with Windows applications and MS Office
  • SAP ERP system knowledge would be an asset
  • Completed Diploma or Degree in a related discipline required
  • Familiar with hydraulics and automation products an asset
  • Must be a team player with excellent people/interpersonal skills - with the ability to develop others, mentor, coach and motivate
  • “Leads by example” and is focused on company goals, supporting our company mission, values, ethics and policies
  • Detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills
