Position Summary:
This position is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and supporting domestic transportation and logistic activities. This is an exempt role reporting to the Associate Director of Supply Chain.
Primary Duties:
- Monitor & support domestic transportation activities.
- Monitor carrier performance through robust dashboard reporting.
- Primary internal contact and resource for carrier complaints resolution, tracking, and dashboard reporting (damage, lost, delay shipments) and submit claims to carriers timely to get a refund when possible.
- Participate in weekly meetings with carriers and internal stakeholders; taking point as needed.
- Support the identification, scoping, and implementation of cost / service and internal process improvement initiatives.
- Support freight invoice verification and develop a process to audit freight charges.
- Support the team for ASNs, STOs, QA release etc. to make inventory available at the warehouse for shipping.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education, Training & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (Technical or Analytical) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation or related field required.
- 2+ years of experience in Logistics / Transportation / Warehousing and some minor experience in Inventory Management required.
- Experience and knowledge within various modes of transportation (FTL – Dry Van and Refrigerated), LTL, Parcel
- Experience in distribution/transportation.
- Should have advanced Excel & PowerPoint. Proficient in Word, Outlook.
- Reliability, flexibility & able to prioritize.
- Ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
- Sense of ownership, rigorous.
- Analytical and Business mindset.
- Strong IS skills (SAP, Excel). Basic knowledge of Tableau is a plus.
