Job Description

This position is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and supporting domestic transportation and logistics activities. Key duties include monitoring carrier performance, resolving complaints, tracking shipments, submitting claims, participating in meetings, and supporting cost/service improvement initiatives. The role also involves freight invoice verification and supporting inventory availability for shipping.

Basic knowledge of Tableau is a plus.

Must Have:

Monitor & support domestic transportation activities.
Monitor carrier performance through robust dashboard reporting.
Primary internal contact and resource for carrier complaints resolution, tracking, and dashboard reporting.
Submit claims to carriers timely to get a refund when possible.
Participate in weekly meetings with carriers and internal stakeholders.
Support the identification, scoping, and implementation of cost / service and internal process improvement initiatives.
Support freight invoice verification and develop a process to audit freight charges.
Support the team for ASNs, STOs, QA release etc. to make inventory available at the warehouse for shipping.
Bachelor’s degree (Technical or Analytical) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation or related field required.
2+ years of experience in Logistics / Transportation / Warehousing and some minor experience in Inventory Management required.
Experience and knowledge within various modes of transportation (FTL – Dry Van and Refrigerated), LTL, Parcel.
Experience in distribution/transportation.
Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills.
Proficient in Word, Outlook.
Strong IS skills (SAP).

This position is responsible for monitoring, analyzing and supporting domestic transportation and logistic activities. This is an exempt role reporting to the Associate Director of Supply Chain.

Primary Duties:

Monitor & support domestic transportation activities.
Monitor carrier performance through robust dashboard reporting.
Primary internal contact and resource for carrier complaints resolution, tracking, and dashboard reporting (damage, lost, delay shipments) and submit claims to carriers timely to get a refund when possible.
Participate in weekly meetings with carriers and internal stakeholders; taking point as needed.
Support the identification, scoping, and implementation of cost / service and internal process improvement initiatives.
Support freight invoice verification and develop a process to audit freight charges.
Support the team for ASNs, STOs, QA release etc. to make inventory available at the warehouse for shipping.
Other duties as assigned.

Education, Training & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (Technical or Analytical) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation or related field required.
2+ years of experience in Logistics / Transportation / Warehousing and some minor experience in Inventory Management required.
Experience and knowledge within various modes of transportation (FTL – Dry Van and Refrigerated), LTL, Parcel
Experience in distribution/transportation.
Should have advanced Excel & PowerPoint. Proficient in Word, Outlook.
