Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workday Expert to join our dynamic team. In this role, the candidate will be instrumental in building, managing, testing, and optimizing our Workday platform to support our global, growing, and agile workforce. Leveraging deep expertise, the candidate will serve as a subject matter expert, collaborating with HR and cross-functional teams to develop innovative programs, processes, and analytics. The focus will be on delivering AI-driven, automated solutions that enhance user experience and streamline HR operations, managing multiple complex projects, and providing training and support.
Must Have:
  • Minimum 4+ years hands-on experience with Workday.
  • Advanced knowledge of at least three Workday modules (HCM, Talent, Performance, Absence, Reporting, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, Security).
  • Proven track record managing multiple, complex projects independently.
  • Strong project management and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Passion for creating simple, user-friendly solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a global, diverse environment.
  • Proactive learner with strong desire to share knowledge and develop skills.

Candidate focus will be on delivering AI-driven, automated solutions that enhance user experience and streamline HR operations.

Additional Information\*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Montreal is CAD $70k – CAD $100k/year & benefits (see below).

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Workday modules (HCM, Talent, Performance, Absence, Reporting, Compensation, Learning, Recruiting, Security).
  • Collaborate closely with HR and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
  • Develop and implement automated processes and innovative solutions utilizing AI and analytics to improve HR functions.
  • Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards are met.
  • Test, troubleshoot, and maintain Workday configurations to ensure system integrity and user satisfaction.
  • Provide training, guidance, and support to end-users and internal teams on Workday functionalities.
  • Stay current with Workday updates, best practices, and industry trends to recommend enhancements and improvements.
  • Foster a culture of sharing knowledge and continuous learning within the team and organization.

Requirements:
