Job Description

Within the Tactical Vehicles and Systems activity, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site specializes in the production of land and airborne weapon systems. As a Workshop Scheduler in the Supply Chain department, you will manage manufacturing orders from launch to delivery, ensuring process efficiency between production and supply. Your role involves preparing and prioritizing orders, monitoring progress, managing supplies, resolving supplier disputes, and adapting production schedules to ensure continuity. You will contribute to improving production activities in terms of cost and performance, aligning with client requirements.

Your daily life

Within the Tactical Vehicles and Systems activity, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site specializes in the production of land and airborne weapon systems (mortars, ammunition, rockets, etc.), force protection systems, and zone control. With its 450 employees, engineers, technicians, and specialized workers, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site ensures research and development, production, testing, as well as all necessary "support" functions for the design of high-performance systems essential to the success of operational missions. Thales, with the German defense group DIEHL, formed a Joint-Venture "JUNGHANS T2M" which has 165 employees, allowing the two companies to combine their expertise in electronics and precision mechanics and thus become one of the world leaders in the field of ammunition fuses. This Joint-Venture is also present on the La Ferté Saint Aubin site.

Within the Supply Chain department, you will be involved from the launch to the delivery of manufacturing orders, ensuring the smooth running of the process in conjunction with production and supply.

Your main missions will be:

  • Prepare and prioritize Manufacturing Orders,
  • Monitor their progress by optimizing deadlines, costs, and quality,
  • Manage supplies,
  • Contribute to resolving disputes with suppliers
  • Monitor consumption and waste,
  • Adapt production line supply schedules to ensure production continuity,
  • Contribute to improving Production activities in terms of cost and performance in line with client requirements

Graduated or with significant experience in the field, you are curious and rigorous. You are attentive, communicative, organized and adaptable, with good interpersonal skills and cooperative. Mastery of ERP/MRP tools is essential.
