Job Description

The Archetype/Version Leader is responsible for defining, managing, and deploying the "archetype" (future ERP SAP S4/HANA version), ensuring alignment between end-to-end business processes and the target system for all relevant entities. This role guarantees the integration of MRO business needs, standards, and standardization requirements across all versions, deployed within different group entities, and ensures the delivery of associated value. This central position ensures the consistency, compliance, and efficiency of the ERP model across all implementation scopes.

  • Define and maintain the "MRO" archetype/version of the ERP S4/HANA model in conjunction with business and IT stakeholders.
  • Ensure the consistency, robustness, and compliance of this version with other S4 archetypes and with the company's end-to-end processes and its Digital Ecosystem.
  • Defend the Fit-to-standard S4 approach, and for exceptions, centralize and arbitrate localization or personalization needs for an entity or country.
  • Lead and coordinate the deployment plan of the concerned ERP version, transversally across the Group, ensuring its scalability and operational maintenance.
  • Document management rules, deviations from the standard target, and ensure traceability of decisions.
  • Collaborate closely with S4HANA teams, business entities, "Services" function business experts, change management leaders, and suppliers.
  • Implement performance indicators related to the adoption of versions/archetypes and improvements in performance and competitiveness versus current capabilities.
  • Ensure regular reporting to project management and sponsors regarding progress and achieved productivities.
  • Contribute to the upskilling of key users and ensure the sharing of best practices.

As part of a migration project to a new ERP system, in an End-to-End Process context within the company:

The Archetype/Version Leader is responsible for defining, managing, and deploying the "archetype" (future ERP SAP S4/HANA version), ensuring alignment between the company's end-to-end processes and the target system, for all entities concerned by the Business Model in question. He/she ensures that "MRO" business needs, standards, and standardization requirements are perfectly integrated into all versions, deployed in the different entities of the group, and guarantees the delivery of its associated value. This position is central to ensuring the consistency, compliance, and efficiency of the ERP model across all implementation scopes.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

  • Define and maintain the "MRO" archetype/version of the ERP S4/HANA model in conjunction with business and IT stakeholders;
  • Ensure the consistency, robustness, and compliance of this version with other S4 archetypes and with the company's end-to-end processes, and its Digital Ecosystem;
  • Defend the Fit-to-standard S4 approach, and for exceptions, centralize and arbitrate localization or personalization needs for an entity or country;

This key position requires the ability to juggle standardization challenges and adaptation/customization (in "by exception" mode), in a dynamic and demanding context, oriented towards competitiveness.

PROFILE

  • Higher education Bac+5 in IT, information systems, project management or similar field;
  • Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in Service Business responsibilities;
  • Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in digital transformation projects, ideally in ERP deployment (SAP, Oracle, etc.) in complex and multi-entity environments;
  • Good understanding of end-to-end Service business processes and their challenges;
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and design/modeling tools;
  • Ease in communication and transversal management of multidisciplinary teams;
  • Rigor, autonomy, attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities;
  • Professional English required.
