Job Summary

Our AAA Art team is seeking a skilled 3D Realistic Generalist Artist to design and create high-fidelity 3D assets for immersive gaming experiences. The role involves creating hard surface models, environments, props, and organic elements, optimizing them for real-time rendering, and developing clean topology and textures. The artist will collaborate with concept artists and leads, support multiple art areas, and adhere to project guidelines, contributing to cutting-edge AAA projects.

Must Have

  • Design and create high-fidelity 3D assets (hard surface, environments, props, organic elements)
  • Optimize assets for real-time rendering
  • Develop clean topology, UV layouts, and texture maps
  • Collaborate with concept artists and leads
  • Adhere to project guidelines and update on progress
  • Participate in team meetings, reviews, and critiques
  • 3-5 years of experience in AAA game development
  • Proficiency in Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer
  • Strong understanding of realistic & high fidelity hard surface modeling techniques
  • Accurate grasp of art fundamentals
  • Has at least one AAA released title

Our AAA Art team is growing!

Are you a skilled 3D Realistic Generalist Artist with a passion for creating high-quality, realistic assets for immersive gaming experiences? We are looking for talented and creative individuals to join our team and bring their expertise to our exciting projects!

  • Design and create high-fidelity 3D assets, including hard surface models, environments, props, and organic elements, using tools like Autodesk Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, and Substance Designer.
  • Ensure assets are optimized for real-time rendering while maintaining a high level of quality and realism.
  • Develop clean and efficient topology, UV layouts, and texture maps to meet industry and project standards.
  • Collaborate closely with concept artists and leads with artistic direction and gameplay needs.
  • Support multiple art areas as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in asset creation.
  • Adhere to project guidelines, keeping leads and project managers updated on task progress.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, reviews, and critiques to improve workflows and maintain a collaborative environment. Implement feedback effectively and make revisions as needed to meet quality expectations.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and techniques to continually improve workflow and asset quality.
  • Fulfill any other assigned responsibilities with diligence and a commitment to excellence

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in AAA game development, with a focus on generalist skills across hard surface and other asset types.
  • Strong background in art, design, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of realistic & high fidelity hard surface modeling techniques, including high-to-low poly workflows, baking, and texturing.
  • Proficiency in Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter/Designer or similar tools.
  • Accurate grasp of art fundamentals, including shape language, material definition, and lighting.
  • Creativity, resourcefulness, and problem-solving skills to tackle complex modeling challenges.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to take direction, apply feedback constructively, and work efficiently within deadlines.
  • Experience across multiple asset types (hard surface, props, environments, organic) is a strong plus.
  • Has at least one AAA released title under their belt
