Wizcorp is seeking a 3D Background Artist for next-generation console projects. The role involves general background design and 3D background modeling, including conceptualizing backgrounds with planners and programmers, creating 3D models (modeling, sculpting, texturing, setup), and providing technical support. The ideal candidate will have specialized skills in 3D background modeling and experience with various DCC tools and game engines.

Must Have

• Specialized skills and knowledge in 3D background modeling production process

Job Description

Wizcorp is looking for a 3D Background Artist to work on projects for next-generation game consoles. We will introduce you to the optimal position within our team based on your career history, skills, and experience.

You will be involved in all aspects of background design and 3D background modeling in game development.

Specific tasks include:

• Conceiving and producing backgrounds in line with game design, in collaboration with planners and programmers.
• Creating 3D background models (modeling, sculpting, texturing, setup, etc.).
• Providing technical support for 3D background production.

Everyone has their own way of using creative time, and you know best what works for you.

You will work 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday, with a core time from 11:00 to 16:00 (excluding a 1-hour break). The allocation of time outside core hours is up to you.

Wizcorp implements full remote work, and most employees work from home. Of course, you can also work at the office if needed, using meeting rooms and hot desks.

The salary range for a Senior 3D Background Artist is as follows:

Annual salary 4.8 to 8.4 million JPY (Monthly salary 400,000 to 700,000 JPY)

The starting salary will be determined based on the applicant's experience and evaluation during interviews.

There will be no special impact or change to the salary during the 6-month probationary period.

💹 Salary Increase/Bonus 💹

• There is an annual performance review, and salaries are reviewed based on experience and contribution to projects.
• Salary increases are typically made around October-November each year, based on the budget and financial forecasts for the next fiscal year.
• No bonuses are paid.
