Job Summary

As an Account Manager, you will be the point of contact for a variety of companies in your region, proactively acquiring new clients and maintaining existing relationships. You will conduct inspections for pest control, provide advice on prevention and control, and present new products and services. The role offers significant freedom in planning your work and opportunities to explore diverse business environments.

Must Have

  • Visit companies in your region to address pest issues

As an Account Manager, no two days are the same. You are the point of contact for a wide variety of companies. You work independently, plan and organize your visits, and are given the freedom to proactively and creatively acquire new customers.

What will you do?

Within your region, you visit large and small companies that suffer from pests or could potentially suffer from them. You inspect the exterior and interior of the building and, based on your findings, advise on pest prevention and control. During your inspection, you pay attention to traces of pests, the application of the space, and hygiene. But also to structural matters such as holes and cracks in the walls through which pests can enter.

Providing sound advice is very important to us. We strive for a long-term relationship with our customers. You sell both one-off assignments and long-term contracts. With existing relationships, you make agreements to keep the customer satisfied and provide interim advice, in short, to further strengthen and expand the relationship.

Furthermore, you present innovations and discuss the possibilities of these new products and services with your customer. Our TeleSupport department supports you in scheduling appointments with potential customers. In addition, you also approach companies yourself (cold canvassing) to expand your customer base and acquire new customers.

The nice thing about this position is that you get a look behind the scenes everywhere. You will therefore come to places you would otherwise never visit. In addition, you get a lot of freedom in planning your work. And the fact that there is room for your own style makes selling very enjoyable.
