Job Description
Paytm is seeking a Junior Manager to join their Business Finance team. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in business intelligence and analytics in the financial services, ecommerce, consulting, or technology domain. Responsibilities include optimizing business strategy using data and analytics, identifying data needs, and driving data quality improvement projects. Proficiency in MS Excel and SQL is required.
Must have:

About Us: Paytm is India’s leading digital payments and financial services company, which is focused on driving consumers and merchants to its platform by offering them a variety of payment use cases. Paytm provides consumers with services like utility payments and money transfers, while empowering them to pay via Paytm Payment Instruments (PPI) like Paytm UPI, Paytm Postpaid - Buy Now, Pay Later. To merchants, Paytm offers acquiring devices like Soundbox, EDC, QR and Payment Gateway where payment aggregation is done through PPI and also other banks’ financial instruments. To further enhance merchants’ business, Paytm offers merchants commerce services through advertising and Paytm Mini app store. Operating on this platform leverage, the company then offers credit services such as merchant loans, personal loans and BNPL, sourced by its financial partners.
About the Team: Business finance, also known as corporate finance in the business world, is responsible for allocating resources, creating economic forecasts, reviewing opportunities for equity and debt financing, and other functions within your organization.
Expectations/ Requirements:
1. Must be highly proficient with MS Excel, SQL.
2. Experience in optimizing business strategy, product or process using data & analytic
3. Must have Quantitative Diagnosis, Analysing Information skills.
4. Identifying data needs and driving data quality improvement projects.
5. Effective spoken and written communication
Superpowers/ Skills that will help you succeed in this role:
1. Minimum 6 years work experience in a business intelligence and analytics role in financial services, ecommerce, and consulting or technology domain.
2. Excellent knowledge of MS Excel.
3. Must be highly proficient with SQL.
4. Experience in various internal and external audit closure
5. Good Interpersonal communication and presentation skills
Education: CA Inter Preferred/ BTech / MBA
