Right now, we are looking for a skilled and passionate team member to join our team from the Team Liquid ID headquarters in Jakarta and help us build out our advertising operations from a recognized position in the industry.
The Opportunity
Are you motivated by the opportunity of building and scaling advertising operations in a fast-moving industry? As the Advertising Operations Manager, you'll join our team at the Team Liquid ID headquarters in Jakarta to help run and improve our ad ops. This is a hybrid role that requires you to be in the office three days a week for team meetings and client calls.
You will oversee the end-to-end execution and optimization of our digital advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate is a data-focused and detail-oriented professional, with a strong background in performance marketing and a genuine interest in gaining deeper insights into the gaming and esports industry. You will work closely with our business development, sales, and technical teams to ensure seamless campaign delivery and to maximize revenue.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Manage and execute online advertising campaigns across various platforms, ensuring accurate implementation of all parameters, including dates, targeting, geographies, tracking (e.g. pixel trackers), pacing, budget levels, and impression/reach goals.
- Monitor and optimize ad placements and formats to maximize performance and delivery, providing actionable insights and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving ad delivery or technical issues promptly.
- Work with the Business Development, Sales, and technical teams to translate client goals into effective campaign strategies and ensure smooth delivery.
- Build and maintain regular performance reports using Excel/Google Sheets, and assess campaign data to provide valuable insights on performance, trends, and ROI.
- Help build and refine systems and processes for efficient campaign execution and reporting.
What You'll Need:
- 1-3 years of proven experience in digital advertising operations or a related role.
- Strong familiarity with digital advertising technologies and platforms, including ad servers like Google Ad Manager.
- Experience with OpenRTB and working directly with Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs) and Supply-Side Platforms (SSPs) is highly valued.
- A resourceful, quick learner capable of working around the limitations of a smaller tool. Our primary ad server is the proprietary NitroPay, so adaptability is key.
- Excellent assessment and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-focused recommendations.
- The ability to build, maintain, and assess reports to track key metrics and performance.
- The ability to communicate fluently and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing, is required for internal and external communication.
- Meticulous attention to detail with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
You'll Earn Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience with a variety of ad technologies and ad tracking/measurement methodologies.
- Knowledge of market trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) like viewability, brand safety, and performance assessment and reporting.
- A genuine interest in gaining deeper insights into the gaming and esports industry
- Familiarity with JavaScript (JS) code-based ads.
- A team player with a humble and curious mindset.
