Job Summary
As an Aerostructure Fitter Assembler, your main mission will be to perform assembly, adjustment, and mounting operations of aeronautical structures. You will work on metallic and composite parts to ensure their conformity, reliability, and safety. Responsibilities include preparing and assembling aircraft structural elements according to plans, performing adjustment, drilling, riveting, and other specific assembly operations for composite and metallic materials, verifying quality and conformity, using precision tools, interpreting plans, and collaborating with other teams.
Must Have
- Prepare and assemble aircraft structural elements according to plans and technical specifications.
- Perform adjustment, drilling, riveting, and other specific assembly operations for composite and metallic materials.
- Verify the quality and conformity of assembled parts, respecting defined tolerances.
- Use precision tools and machines for perfect structural assembly.
- Read and interpret plans and technical sheets.
- Collaborate with other teams (quality, production, etc.) to ensure project deadlines and conformity.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in adjustment and assembly in the aeronautical sector.
- Mastery of adjustment, assembly, and riveting techniques; knowledge of metallurgy and composite materials.
- Ability to read aeronautical plans and technical sheets.
- Precision, rigor, autonomy, and ability to work in a team.
Good to Have
- A CAP/BEP or Bac Pro diploma in aeronautics would be a plus.
- Specific certifications in aerostructure assembly or adjustment are also appreciated.
