API & Integration Project Leader | Devoteam - I-Tech

Devoteam, an AI-driven tech consultancy with over 11,000 experts across 25 countries, is seeking an API & Integration Project Leader for its I-Tech unit in the Netherlands. This role involves leading the implementation of crucial API and Integration solutions for clients, combining classic project management with service management setup. The ideal candidate will drive projects, manage stakeholders, oversee budgets and scope, coordinate delivery, and lead progress meetings, contributing to modern, flexible IT landscapes.

Must Have

• Project/Product Ownership: Act as Project Manager or Product Owner, leading the team and translating vision into a backlog.
• Stakeholder Management: Central point of contact, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
• Financial and Scope Management: Monitor budget and ensure disciplined alignment of scope and backlog.
• Delivery Coordination: Coordinate change assignments, monitor delivery, and achieve project goals within agreed time and quality.
• Progress: Organize and lead periodic progress meetings for transparency and obstacle removal.
• Minimum 3 years relevant work experience as Project Manager and/or Product Owner.
• Valid PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner) certificate.
• Dutch speaking (crucial for clients).
• Demonstrable affinity with API & Integration and knowledge of platforms like Azure, Mulesoft, Tibco, or similar.

Job Description

You will become part of our specialized API & Integration team within the I-Tech (Innovative Technology) unit. This team is the backbone of our clients' modern, flexible IT landscapes.

As a Project Leader at Devoteam, you are the driving force behind the implementation of crucial API and Integration solutions for our clients, such as Intergamma, Renewi, and Gemeente Leiden. The role is unique because, in addition to classic Project Management, you also play a role in setting up or guiding service management around the implemented solutions.

Your impact and activities:

• Project/Product Ownership: You will be deployed as a Project Manager or Product Owner for the client. You lead the team and translate the vision into a feasible backlog.
• Stakeholder Management: You are the central point of contact for all stakeholders. You maintain strong relationships and ensure clear and timely communication about progress.
• Financial and Scope Management: You meticulously monitor the budget and ensure disciplined alignment of the scope and backlog.
• Delivery Coordination: You coordinate change assignments, monitor delivery, and ensure that project objectives are met within the agreed time and quality.
• Progress: You organize and lead periodic progress meetings to ensure transparency and quickly remove obstacles.

Job Requirements

• You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience as a Project Manager and/or Product Owner.
• You are in possession of a valid PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner) certificate.
• You are Dutch-speaking (crucial for our clients).
• You have demonstrable affinity with the world of API & Integration and know the ecosystems of platforms such as Azure, Mulesoft, Tibco, or similar.
• You are a strong stakeholder manager who can communicate effectively at all levels in an organization.
• You are a strong communicator, both written and oral, and know how to motivate and engage people.
• You are proactive, analytical, and results-oriented.
