Close collaboration with regional leadership and cross-functional teams is required to implement localized strategies aligned with regional and national goals.
Must Have:
  • Drive achievement of area business targets (topline, bottomline)
  • Lead day-to-day operations for business continuity and efficiency
  • Manage demand and supply sides (partner acquisition, retention, engagement)
  • Develop and execute localized marketing initiatives for Tier-2 markets
  • Collaborate with Regional teams and HQ for strategic growth plans
  • Oversee area budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
  • Build relationships with key partners, local stakeholders, and community leaders
  • Lead, coach, and develop local teams for high performance
  • Minimum 5 years experience in area/city operations, sales, marketing, or business development
  • Proven track record in growth and operational excellence in decentralized environments
  • Strong business acumen, data interpretation, and analytical decision-making skills
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal communication
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with local partners and institutions
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments with problem-solving skills
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient in English
  • Willingness to travel extensively across West, Central, and South Kalimantan

About the Role

Area Manager will oversee operations, sales, and user growth activities across Tier-2 cities in West, Central, and South Kalimantan. This role focuses on driving sustainable growth, ensuring operational excellence, and strengthening the company’s local presence. The ideal candidate is both analytical and strategic — capable of identifying business opportunities through data-driven insights and executing initiatives that deliver measurable impact. This role requires close collaboration with regional leadership and cross-functional teams in HQ to implement localized strategies that align with regional and national goals.

What You Will Do

  • Drive the achievement of area business targets, including topline (transactions, revenue) and bottomline (cost efficiency, profit) metrics.
  • Lead day-to-day operations to ensure business continuity and operational efficiency across assigned cities.
  • Manage both demand and supply sides of the business — from partner acquisition to retention and engagement.
  • Develop and execute localized marketing initiatives tailored to the needs and characteristics of Tier-2 markets.
  • Collaborate closely with Regional teams and HQ functions to align and execute strategic growth plans.
  • Oversee area budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking to ensure goal attainment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners, local stakeholders, and community leaders to strengthen brand presence and operational support.
  • Lead, coach, and develop local teams to ensure high performance and strong execution capability.

What You Will Need

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in area or city operations, preferably with exposure to sales, marketing, or business development in multi-city management.
  • Proven track record of achieving growth and operational excellence in diverse, decentralized environments.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret data and use analytics for decision-making.
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with local partners, government institutions, and communities.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and proficient in English.
  • Willing to travel extensively across West, Central, and South Kalimantan as needed.
