Context

As part of the ongoing partnership between NXP and Phelma, a new NXP board is being introduced to support hands-on learning. This internship aims to upgrade and modernize the existing chassis used across four teaching modules and ensure alignment with hardware capabilities.

Objectives

  • Upgrade existing chassis to integrate the new NXP board.
  • Explore and propose enhancements such as HDMI interface support or PC-based simulation (if feasible).
  • Document the integration process and produce a user guide.
  • Contribute to the alignment of teaching materials with the new platform’s capabilities.
  • The internship will serve as a reference implementation for future deployment to 2nd-year students.
  • Identify limitations and opportunities.
