Job Summary

Bounteous is seeking an Associate Director of Social Media for a hybrid role in Media, Pennsylvania. This role involves leading social media strategy, integrating with client teams, planning and overseeing campaigns for a well-known brand, and partnering with creative teams. Responsibilities also include identifying emerging trends, tracking KPIs, educating teams on best practices, and maintaining knowledge of social media tools and related marketing channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of sports audience engagement and experience leveraging athlete partnerships.

Must Have

  • Lead social media and social media strategy thought leadership
  • Integrate with client team, attending meetings and daily activities in client’s office (required three days per week)
  • Plan and oversee various annual and special campaigns for a well-known brand
  • Partner with designers, creative directors, and content strategists to create concepts for engaging posts in paid and organic social
  • Identify emerging trends, tactics, and platforms
  • Develop, implement and track KPIs to measure performance against strategic goals
  • Educate internal and client teams on social media marketing best practices and industry updates
  • Maintain knowledge of key social media tools (publishing, reporting, influencer, competitor review, social listening)
  • Maintain a working knowledge of related marketing channels like paid social media and loyalty
  • Strong grasp of how sports audiences engage with content across social platforms
  • Experience leveraging athlete partnerships to drive brand relevance and community connection
  • Maintain a clear brand vision, designing, executing, and approving social media campaigns and strategies
  • Active contributor to all levels of social media reporting for clients
  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle

Good to Have

  • 8+ years of experience in a digital marketing environment, with robust hands-on experience with social media platforms
  • Working knowledge of paid social media placements and campaign structure
  • Experience working cross-collaboratively with public relations, employer brand, and influencer teams
  • Confidence to take the lead on social brand strategy
  • Experience launching new social accounts from the ground up
  • History of quantifiable improvement in social performance for a large, enterprise brand
  • Deep knowledge of Meta Business Manager and Sprout Social
  • Global marketing experience is a plus
  • Agency experience preferred

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Associate Director of Social Media for a hybrid role at our client's headquarters in Media, Pennsylvania. The candidate must be in-office 3-4 days per week.

Information Security Responsibilities

  • Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols
  • Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets
  • Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
  • Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information

Role and Responsibilities

  • Act as a leader of Bounteous’ social media and social media strategy thought leadership
  • Integrate with client team, attending meetings and daily activities in client’s office while working with Bounteous colleagues remote and onsite (required three days per week)
  • Plan and oversee various annual and special campaigns, including strategy and leadership for a well-known brand
  • Partner with designers, creative directors, and content strategists to create concepts for engaging posts in paid and organic social, and provide insights about the drivers of performance
  • Identify emerging trends, tactics, and platforms; develop and circulate a perspective on how they can be leveraged to contribute to the achievement of our client’s social goals
  • Develop, implement and track KPIs to measure performance against strategic goals
  • Educate internal and client teams on social media marketing best practices and industry updates, and contribute to the ongoing training of junior team members
  • Maintain knowledge of key social media tools, including publishing, reporting, influencer, competitor review, and social listening
  • Maintain a working knowledge of related marketing channels, like paid social media and loyalty
  • Strong grasp of how sports audiences engage with content across social platforms, including real-time fan interaction and platform-specific storytelling, with experience leveraging athlete partnerships to drive brand relevance and community connection.
  • Able to maintain a clear brand vision, designing, executing, and approving social media campaigns and strategies
  • Active contributor to all levels of social media reporting for clients, including but not limited to monthly reports, quarterly business reviews, and campaign reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in a digital marketing environment, with robust hands-on experience with social media platforms
  • Working knowledge of paid social media placements and campaign structure
