Job Summary
Join EA's Create Audio team as a temporary, full-time Audio Artist to create world-class soundscapes for ambitious projects, focusing on audio design and implementation for the skate. franchise. This role involves collaborating with various teams, completing tasks by deadlines, and troubleshooting audio bugs, all within a hybrid work model in Vancouver or Montreal.
Must Have
- Sound design for a variety of features across the skate. title
- Implement audio features in game
- Work with Design, Animation, VFX, and Audio Leadership to ensure audio aligns with the game vision
- Complete audio tasks by the planned deadlines
- Identify and resolve audio-related issues within the game
- Ability to drive the design and implementation approach for owned features or content
- 4+ years of game audio and/or post-production experience
- Working knowledge in using game audio authoring tools and pipelines (Wwise, FMOD)
- Proficient knowledge of at least one major DAW (ProTools, Reaper, Nuendo)
- Experience with game engines (Unity, Unreal)
- Understanding of visual programming (Unreal, Pure Data, Max MSP, Reaktor) and scripting (Python, Lua)
- Understanding of version control tools (e.g., Perforce)
- Artistic, creative, and technical sensibilities
