Job Description

As a Bar Back, you will be the essential support system behind our bar operations, keeping things stocked, clean, and ready so Bartenders can deliver seamless service. You will combine behind-the-scenes work with guest-facing hospitality, helping to create a welcoming environment for members, guests, and partners. This role is fast-paced, team-oriented, and vital to ensuring events, activations, and daily bar and events operations run smoothly.
Must have:
  • Support Bartenders by keeping the bar fully stocked, clean, and organized.
  • Handle bar prep, including garnishes, beverages, and glassware par levels.
  • Provide warm, proactive hospitality by assisting guests and supporting service flow.
  • Wash and polish glassware, manage small dish duties, and remove trash.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, pantry kitchen, storage, and prep spaces.
  • Participate in opening, closing, and pantry cleanup duties as part of the campus team.
  • Assist Bartenders during events and activations with setup, service, and breakdown.
  • Anticipate supply needs during events and restock proactively.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards.
  • Hospitality-first mindset with strong teamwork and guest service orientation.
  • Reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented approach.
  • Comfortable with physical work: lifting, moving cases, trash removal.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 lbs.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends for events.
Good to have:
  • Previous bar support, hospitality, or service experience.
  • TIPS, ATAP, or equivalent alcohol service certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days).
