Blackbird Interactive is seeking a Bookkeeper for a regular part-time, hybrid role in Vancouver, BC. This position involves managing accounts payable, reconciling credit cards, processing expense reimbursements, and organizing finance folders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with accounting software like NetSuite, Sage 300, or QuickBooks, along with proficiency in Google Suite and Excel. The studio offers a four-day work week and flexible work arrangements.
Must have:
  • Accounts payable: Receiving, sorting, filing (electronically) and posting into our NetSuite system
  • Recording and reconciling multiple credit cards
  • Receiving and posting expense reimbursements
  • Organizing and maintaining the finance folders
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and accounting terminology
  • Experience working with Accounting software e.g. NetSuite, Sage 300, QB
  • Proficient in Google docs and Google sheets
  • Impeccable Excel skills required
Good to have:
  • Confluence experience
  • Perforce software experience

Requirements

  • Knowledge of basic accounting and accounting terminology
  • Experience working with Accounting software e.g. NetSuite, Sage 300, QB
  • Must be thorough and organized with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible work style that can manage multiple projects in an evolving environment
  • Autonomous and able to prioritize effectively
  • Proficient in Google docs and Google sheets
  • Impeccable Excel skills required

Nice-to-Haves

  • Confluence experience
  • Perforce software experience
