Job Description

The Brockerage Coordinator will be responsible for understanding, performing, and coordinating import and export declaration processes, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and timely data entry. This role involves managing bonded warehouse and Inward Processing Relief administration, electronic archiving, and reporting Intrastat, Extrastat, and VAT for various countries. The coordinator will also support the business with Trade Compliance questions, handle work instruction creation, and train team members, ensuring business continuity for Trade Compliance processes.
Must have:
  • Understanding, performing and coordinating the process of making import declarations using correct customs regulations, goods codes and additional codes within the agreed time frame.
  • Data entry of previous document and invoice information in case there is no electronic message.
  • Control the previous document is a Philips shipment.
  • Support and advice the business with making a correct export declaration.
  • Data entry of an export declarations for organizations which do not have this functionality.
  • Clearance AGS and Transit declarations for the Single Authorization Simplified Procedures (SASP- NL, AT, IE, FR, DE) countries and UK.
  • Administration of the bonded warehouse (BWH) and Inward Processing Relief (IPR).
  • Archiving electronically the declaration relevant documentation.
  • Reporting Intrastat, Extrastat and VAT for the SASP countries and DE, UK.
  • Coordinating the work of TC sub-team team to support business continuity for Trade Compliance processes and areas it supports.
  • Responsible for reporting daily, weekly and monthly results – internally within organization and to external stakeholders.
  • Supporting business with TC questions.
  • Handling process of creation and update of work instructions.
  • Training team members on TC processes.
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Customs Administration OR Vocational Education in Trade Compliance or equivalent.
  • Fluent English.
  • Experience in working with MS office applications.
  • Accuracy and ability to work as a part of a team.
Good to have:
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain or Transportation.
  • Fluent Dutch or German.

You are right fit if:

  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Customs Administration OR Vocational Education in Trade Compliance or equivalent
  • Preferred previous experience in Supply Chain or Transportation
  • Fluent English. Fluent Dutch or German is a plus
  • Experience in working with MS office applications
  • Accuracy and ability to work as a part of a team
