Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for driving sales and business growth by proactively engaging and managing high-potential customers and prospects. This includes understanding their needs, promoting the product portfolio, creating account plans, and ensuring excellent service delivery. The role also involves market research, onboarding new customers, and resolving customer queries, requiring strong communication, strategic thinking, and a proven sales track record.

Must Have

  • Willingness to travel locally and overseas

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively engage and manage high-potential and/or larger customers/prospects, understand their needs, promote and discuss the complete product portfolio and create and follow up the account plan for assigned customers, to drive sales and business growth for the assigned (high-potential and/or larger) customers/prospects, lead conversion and foster strong customer relationships
  • Provide optimal assistance to customers in case of problems or complaints, ensuring excellent service delivery.
  • Gather relevant marker info, market price, products trend and share with Managers/ or relevant department.
  • Lead market research for his/her region. Proactively on-board, follow up and develop new customers towards recurring TVH orders to ensure a successful on boarding experience.
  • Preparation and planning of the customer visits in order to be able to use the available time as efficiently and optimally as possible to manage the customer database as efficiently as possible.
  • Responsibility for investigating and resolving queries from customers.
  • Participate in projects, carry out defined tasks, and ensure the quality of your work to contribute to the successful delivery of the project.
  • Any other adhoc duties that assigned by the managers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience in spare parts/equipment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and planning abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision yet collaborate effectively with headquarters and cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Willingness to travel locally and overseas as required to attend various meetings/event and meeting customers.
