Foundation Health is seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive outbound pipeline growth. This role involves identifying, researching, and connecting with decision-makers in health systems, pharma, and other healthcare organizations. The BDR will proactively engage prospects, craft personalized outreach, conduct account research, and collaborate with sales and marketing to refine strategies. This position is ideal for a resourceful, organized individual eager to build a career in healthcare sales, working directly with the Senior Director of Business Development.

  • Manage outbound lead generation email campaigns, primarily using Outreach.io.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a business development or outbound sales role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple outreach cadences.
  • Self-starter with a proactive, ownership mindset, comfortable with KPIs and goals.
  • Experience with sales enablement tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, Wiza, and CRM systems.

About the Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a critical role in driving our outbound pipeline growth. You’ll be on the front lines of our sales team, identifying, researching, and connecting with decision-makers at health systems, pharma manufacturers, and other healthcare organizations.

This role is ideal for someone who is resourceful, organized, and eager to build a career in healthcare sales. You’ll be working directly with our Senior Director of Business Development and collaborating with sales and marketing to refine outreach strategies, messaging, and targeting.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Proactively identify and engage potential health system and pharmacy prospects using tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Wize, Outreach.io, and Relate (CRM)
  • Craft personalized outbound messages and sales campaigns to generate qualified meetings for the sales team
  • Conduct account research to tailor outreach and prioritize high-value targets
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to refine messaging and campaign strategies
  • Track all activities and engagement in our CRM (Relate) with high accuracy
  • Stay current on Foundation Health’s solutions, customer pain points, and market trends
  • Manage outbound lead generation email campaigns, primarily using Outreach.io
  • Lead list building, content development, conference management
  • Support event follow-up and other demand generation initiatives as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–5 years of experience in a business development or outbound sales role (experience in healthcare, SaaS, or digital health is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a natural curiosity and ability to connect with people
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple outreach cadences and follow-ups
  • Self-starter with a proactive, ownership mindset — comfortable with KPIs and goals
  • Experience with sales enablement tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach.io, Wiza, CRM systems (we use Relate) and other platforms
  • Interest in healthcare innovation, AI, and digital transformation
