Onward Search is looking to hire a Channel Marketing Manager for a leading digital media company. This remote role in New York, New York, involves leading channel marketing for Spotify for Authors, guiding authors and publishers in their audiobook journey. The manager will drive engagement and education through CRM, social media, and editorial channels, developing strategies to inspire creators, promote feature adoption, and support long-term growth.

Must Have:
  • Spearhead CRM campaigns from strategy to execution.
  • Enhance and expand social media presence for audiobook creators.
  • Develop and manage the editorial calendar.
  • Collaborate with brand, product, and publisher partnership teams.
  • Measure, report, and optimize performance KPIs across owned channels.
  • Over 3 years of experience in channel, publisher partnerships, or lifecycle marketing.
  • Proven track record managing CRM campaigns and social media.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Braze), audience segmentation, multivariate testing.
  • Strong analytics and A/B testing skills.
  • Excellent editorial judgment and writing skills.

In this role, you’ll lead channel marketing efforts for Spotify for Authors, guiding authors and publishers on their audiobook journey. You’ll drive engagement and education through CRM, social media, and editorial channels—developing strategies that inspire creators, promote feature adoption, and support long-term growth. Channel Marketing Manager Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead CRM campaigns from strategy to execution, utilizing channels such as email, in-app messages, and push notifications.
  • Enhance and expand our client’s social media presence, targeting audiobook creators with educational and engaging content.
  • Develop and manage the editorial calendar, ensuring consistent and brand-aligned messaging across all platforms.
  • Collaborate with brand, product, and publisher partnership teams to amplify launches and product updates.
  • Measure, report, and optimize performance KPIs across all owned channels, using data visualization to communicate impact effectively.

Channel Marketing Manager Qualifications:

  • Over 3 years of experience in channel, publisher partnerships, or lifecycle marketing.
  • Proven track record managing CRM campaigns and social media, ideally within a B2B, SaaS, or creator-focused environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Braze (preferred), along with expertise in audience segmentation and multivariate testing.
  • Strong analytics and A/B testing skills with the ability to use insights to refine messaging and targeting.
  • Excellent editorial judgment and writing skills with a keen eye for brand voice.
  • Passion for empowering creators and leveraging digital marketing to build lasting relationships.
  • Detail-oriented, a problem solver, and skilled at aligning channel activities with broader business objectives.
