They will collaborate with concept artists and animators, apply textures and materials, optimize models for performance, and refine them based on feedback. This role requires adaptability to new systems and documentation of modeling pipelines. Responsibilities:
● 3D Character Modeling: Create detailed, high-quality 3D models of characters, including both realistic human figures and imaginative, monstrous creatures, aligning with the both realistic human figures and imaginative, monstrous creatures, aligning with the game’s iconic art direction.
● Collaboration: Partner with concept artists and animators to ensure character models are optimized for rigging, animation, and integration into our unique creature generation system.
● Texturing & Shading: Apply textures and materials that capture the distinct aesthetic of the game, using advanced tools to achieve a cohesive look across all characters.

● Optimization: Ensure models are optimized for performance while maintaining high visual fidelity across multiple platforms.
● Iteration: Refine models based on feedback, enhancing both their visual impact and technical functionality.
● Adaptability: Be open to working within an innovative character generation system, contributing creatively to the development of new tools and workflows.
● Documentation: Maintain documentation for modeling pipelines, including guidelines for modular and customizable character assets.

Requirements:
● Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Game Art, 3D Modeling, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
● Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 years as a Character Modeler in the gaming industry, with a portfolio showcasing both realistic and fantastical characters.

● Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as ZBrush, Maya, 3ds Max, and Substance Painter/Designer.
● Artistic Vision: Strong ability to interpret and enhance an iconic art direction, creating characters that are both technically sound and artistically compelling.
● Optimization Skills: Experience in optimizing character models for cross-platform performance without compromising visual quality.
● Innovation: Willingness to engage with and contribute to new systems and methodologies, particularly those involving character generation and customization.

● Passion for Gaming: A deep love for gaming, especially in PvEvP and cross-platform genres, with a keen awareness of current and emerging trends.
