Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly strategic, detail-oriented, and experienced Contract Executive Engagement Program Manager to support high-impact executive experiences. This role focuses on coordinating priorities for a premium year-round sports sponsorship and managing executive briefings at the Proofpoint Innovation Center. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, excels at cross-functional collaboration, has a passion for delivering premium, personalized experiences for C-level audiences and has experience managing sports sponsorships.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive Event Management & Sports Sponsorship
- Overall sponsorship coordination ensuring internal alignment with priorities amongst social media, Brandx, and customer-facing organizations (field sales, customer success).
- Collaborate with agency in day-to-day management of benefits and activation execution, staying abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform partnership strategy.
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences that reflect Proofpoint’s world-class brand, including personalized pre-event communication, onsite white-glove service, post-event follow-up.
- Oversee creative development, install, and content capture for digital and social amplification.
- Able to incorporate and generate a social media strategy.
- Align with the sales and customer success organizations to implement targeted communications plan aligned to executive engagement priorities.
- Monitor campaign performance metrics, conduct data analysis, and derive actionable insights to optimize marketing strategies. Prioritize utilization of benefits to drive maximum business output.
Executive Briefing & Engagement
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of executive briefings, including intake, agenda development, speaker coordination, and on-site facilitation.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to sales teams, aligning briefing content and structure with customer objectives and sales opportunities.
- Manage PIC operations including logistics, hospitality, AV/IT coordination, and vendor relationships.
- Maintain and add to best practices, playbooks, and operational frameworks to ensure consistency and quality.
- Coordinate executive meetings at major industry events (e.g., RSA), including scheduling, briefing materials, and on-site support.
- Strategize, plan, and execute evening ancillary events targeting strategic customers during industry-wide events.
- Ensure seamless execution and follow-up of c-suite interactions to drive relationship growth and business impact.
Program Strategy & Operations
- Act as a brand ambassador for the executive engagement program.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives for the Corporate Events & Programs team, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Sports sponsorship enablement experience required.
- Proven ability to manage complex programs and multiple priorities in a high-growth, fast-paced setting.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, with experience engaging C-suite executives.
- Strong project management and organizational skills; highly detail-oriented and metrics-driven.
- Polished executive presence and strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building impactful internal/external connections.
- Collaborative mindset with a track record of cross-functional partnership.
- Customer-first orientation with a passion for delivering premium experiences.
- Experience with Salesforce, Briefingsource, Marketo, and analytics tools is a plus.
- Performs well under pressure in a highly visible role.
Requirements
- This is an on-site role based in Sunnyvale, CA.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field required.
- 5-10+ years of experience in customer marketing, field marketing, or event management within a B2B tech environment; min. 2 years of executive engagement/executive briefing experience, required.
- Familiarity with sales and partner ecosystems; experience supporting or enabling field and partner teams.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and build consensus across various levels of the organization.
- Frequent engagement with senior leaders, customers, partners, and cross-functional teams is expected.
- This job requires up to 25% travel and in-office days in Sunnyvale as needed, to support executive briefings.
