Job Summary
Razorfish is seeking a Copywriter to create clear, compelling, and impactful content for marketing and branding efforts. This role involves developing both short-form (headlines, taglines, social media) and long-form copy (web, internal communications), maintaining brand voice, collaborating with creative teams, and presenting concepts. The copywriter will also focus on engaging, high-converting content across various channels, utilizing SEO principles, and ensuring brand consistency.
Must Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Creative Writing, or Advertising/Portfolio school
- 3-5 years of experience in copywriting
- Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to independently prioritize tasks
- Experience creating compelling content that elevates engagement and drives business revenue
- Proven success driving multiple projects in fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with high-quality work
- Provide a portfolio showcasing previous written work

Overview
We’re looking for a copywriter who will creates clear compelling copy. creating impactful content that supports marketing and branding efforts for our client. You will develop short-form copy such as headlines, taglines, and social media posts as well as long-form copy for web or internal client communications.
Responsibilities
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client’s products and services and company related industry trends
- Stay current on the appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistent messaging
- Partner to Interpret creative briefs to develop concepts for executions
- Write original copy and edit content for a range of marketing and communications materials
- Collaborate with a team of other creative staff and marketers, from concept development to delivery of final product
- Be able to confidently present copy, concepts and final deliverables to internal team
- Writing engaging, and high-converting copy for various channels.
- Creating sleek copy and messaging for market launches, multiple channels and for larger awareness campaigns.
- Find opportunities to mentor junior copywriters and elevate the creative team.
- Work under the direction of a creative lead across a variety of projects, including:
- Digital, social, and owned content
- Support of local industry events and sponsorships
- Local editorial content
- Employee events
- Client internal communications
- Web production
- Legally mandated materials
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve content strategy and drive customer engagement
- Analyzing customer data to understand audience needs and preferences
- Creatively using SEO principles to maximize copy's reach as necessary
- Ensuring brand consistency in style, tone, and voice
- Proofreading and editing as needed
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications, Creative Writing or Advertising/Portfolio school or a related field) and 3-5 years of experience in copywriting

Compensation Range: $73,815.00 - $110,775 per year. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
