Job Description

Joining the Toulouse site, you will integrate a team focused on sovereign cyber defense solutions and digital services for critical information systems. As an expert in security solution administration within Thales Cyber Solutions, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational and security maintenance (MCO/MCS) of security applications. Your role involves optimal functioning, parameterization, configuration, support, monitoring, and documentation of security processes, contributing to overall quality and security.

Must Have:
  • Ensure optimal functioning of security solutions.
  • Contribute to parameterization and change management of security solutions.
  • Configure solutions in compliance with defined standards and conduct regular reviews.

  • Monitor actions and document processes.
  • Maintain and evolve security solutions for quality, productivity, and global security.
  • Monitor and remediate identified vulnerabilities.
  • Validate tool installation in production environments.
  • Process incidents, anomalies, and exceptions.
  • Ensure proper logging and alert reporting.
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in security solution and application administration.
  • Strong command of IT production processes, OS and application security, network security, and security tool configuration.
  • Excellent understanding of Cybersecurity issues.

Your daily life

By joining the Toulouse site, you will integrate a site bringing together our sovereign cyber defense solutions to face growing IT threats and our digital services activities enabling the operation of our clients' critical information systems and supporting them in their secure digital transformation.

Within Thales, our Thales Cyber Solutions teams provide a wide spectrum of cybersecurity services, ranging from cyber governance to specialized technical expertise, as well as detection and response services delivered from our SOCs, forensic analysis, and threat intelligence. Our clients include OIVs, OSEs needing to protect critical IT or OT systems, large groups, and governmental organizations.

Within the Protection Services team, you will act as an expert in the administration of security solutions and applications. More concretely, you will be responsible for ensuring the operational and security maintenance (MCO/MCS) of security solutions and applications.

Your main missions:

Administration

  • Ensure the optimal functioning of the security solutions under your responsibility.
  • Contribute to the parameterization of security solutions, manage changes.
  • Configure solutions in compliance with the norms and standards defined by domain experts, perform regular reviews of implemented rules and parameters.
  • Provide support to operations teams.
  • Ensure follow-up of actions and documentation of processes.

Maintenance

  • Maintain and evolve the security solutions within your scope, with an objective of quality, productivity, and global security.
  • Ensure the monitoring and remediation of identified vulnerabilities.

Operation

  • Validate the installation of tools in the production environment.
  • Process incidents or anomalies as well as exceptions.
  • Ensure the proper functioning of log and alert reporting.

Communication

  • Contribute to raising awareness and training users on security solutions.

Your profile

  • Graduated from an engineering school or equivalent, you have at least 5 years of professional experience in the administration of security solutions and applications.
  • You have a good command of IT production processes, OS and application security, network security and their protocols, configuration of security-related tools, and an excellent understanding of Cybersecurity issues.

Technical skills:

  • Firewall: Fortinet, Palo Alto, Stormshield
  • Switching: Juniper, Cisco
  • Systems: Linux, Windows
  • Applications: Cyberwatch, Tenable, Harfanglab
  • Virtualization (Vmware, proxmox, Kubernetes)
  • DevOps: Ansible, Terraform, Git
  • Supervision: Centreon
  • Scripting: Python, bash

A good level of written and spoken English is required to work in international contexts.

Beyond your technical skills, you wish to continue to progress, learn, understand, and demonstrate curiosity about new developments in cybersecurity. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and discoveries with your team.
