The Cybersecurity Engineer - Operations Security Manager at Thales in Brest will be integrated into the Under Water Systems Business Line's Cybersecurity Competence Center. The role involves participating in the security integration of information systems, leading security maintenance activities, and continuous security improvement plans. Key responsibilities include being the security point of contact for operational teams, ensuring the application of security procedures, and contributing to risk analyses and accreditation processes for information systems.
Must Have
- Lead Security Maintenance in Operational Condition (MCS) activities
- Lead Continuous Security Improvement Plans (PACS)
- Be the security point of contact for information system exploitation teams
- Guarantee the application of security procedures
- Inventory, map, and maintain Information Systems (BMNs)
- Participate in accreditation processes
- Participate in project-associated risk analyses
- Process Continuous Security Improvement Plans (PACS)
- Process accreditation maintenance monitoring plans
- Knowledge of EBIOS risk analysis methods
- Knowledge of SSI frameworks and associated regulations (IGI1300 II 901)
- Knowledge of international norms, standards, and regulations (NIST Framework, ISO 2700x)
- Ability to understand vulnerabilities and mitigation means
- Identification and evaluation of risks induced by vulnerabilities

Your daily life
The Brest site houses our digital services activities as well as Thales' expertise in development, integration, and maintenance for maritime patrol and surveillance systems, electronic warfare, sonar systems, and airborne anti-submarine warfare, as well as our digital services activities.
Integrated into the Cybersecurity Competence Center of the Under Water Systems Business Line as Operations Security Manager (RSE), you will participate in the security integration process of our information systems. Your main missions are as follows:
- Lead Security Maintenance in Operational Condition (MCS) activities and Continuous Security Improvement Plans (PACS).
- Be the security point of contact for teams operating information systems and will guarantee the application of security procedures.
In detail, you will be required to:
- Inventory/map and maintain our Information Systems (Business Managed Network - BMNs)
- Participate in accreditation processes
- Participate in risk analyses associated with projects
- Process Continuous Security Improvement Plans (PACS)
- Process accreditation maintenance monitoring plans under the responsibility of a Project Security Manager (RSP)

Do you aim to share your expertise in Cybersecurity standards with a multidisciplinary environment?

With an Engineer, Bac + 5 or equivalent background, you have the following skills:
- Knowledge of EBIOS risk analysis methods, as well as SSI (Information Systems Security) frameworks and associated regulations (IGI1300 II 901, ...)
- Knowledge of international norms, standards and regulations (NIST Framework, ISO 2700x, ...) ?
- Ability to understand vulnerabilities as well as technical or organizational mitigation means
- Identification and evaluation of risks induced by the vulnerabilities
