Job Description

The Desktop Support Administrator I at CSG International is responsible for installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop systems, maintaining security, and managing hardware/software inventory. This role involves providing provisioning and support for printers and mobile devices, collaborating with teams to resolve technical issues, and documenting trouble tickets. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of technical support experience and familiarity with Windows and Mac operating systems.
Good To Have:
  • Appropriate certifications such as A+, MCSA, MCSE, MCP, CCNA.
  • Ability to learn and use professional concepts.
  • Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to stand/walk up to 20% of day and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines.
  • Experience with Office 2010, Lync 2010, VOIP, Remedy, HP Asset Center.
  • Experience provisioning Tablets and Smart Phones.
Must Have:

  • Track and manage hardware and software inventory.
  • Provide provisioning and support for printer and mobile devices.
  • Collaborate with team members to resolve client requests and technical issues.

  • Escalate situations outside employee's control that could adversely impact services.
  • Determine the scope of trouble tickets and responsible departments.
  • Associates Degree Equivalent Experience.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in providing customer service in a technical support role.
  • Familiarity with Windows 7, Windows 8, and Mac OS.

We are looking for a Desktop Support Administrator who will:

  • Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems
  • Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security
  • Proactively identifies process gaps and recommends solutions
  • Hardware and Software Inventory tracking and management
  • Provides provisioning and support for printer and mobile devices
  • Work as a team member to collaboratively resolve client requests and technical issues with other team members, partners and vendors
  • Document all trouble tickets with clear, concise explanations in a timely and accurate manner ensuring adherence to department policies and procedures
  • Escalate to supervisor any situation outside the employee's control that could adversely impact the services being provided
  • Determine the scope of the trouble ticket and the responsible department
