Job Summary

As a Presales professional at SoftwareOne, you will be instrumental in driving Digital Workplace solution sales, business development, and marketing activities in Malaysia. You will collaborate with Account Managers and Business Development Executives, leading technical solutioning and pre-sales engagements to ensure exceptional customer experiences. This proactive role requires you to shape innovative solutions, act as the technical authority for Digital Workplace offerings, and contribute to regional growth by scoping professional services and delivering Statements of Work.

Must Have

  • Co-own Digital Workplace solution sales, business development, and marketing activities.
  • Lead technical solutioning and pre-sales engagements for best-in-class customer experiences.
  • Scope professional services opportunities and deliver Statements of Work (SoW).
  • Partner with Account Managers and Business Development Executives to drive new business.
  • Lead architectural design sessions, customer workshops, and solution shaping.
  • Develop high-level designs, Statements of Work, and Bills of Materials.
  • Prepare cost estimates for licensing, product sales, and professional services.
  • Act as the technical lead for pre-sales engagements and sales enablement activities.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams and partners to ensure successful implementation.
  • Contribute to regional growth through proactive business development and customer acquisition.
  • Ability to commute to office in Kuala Lumpur and visit clients in Malaysia.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft 365: design, implementation, and migration projects.
  • Experience delivering M365 productivity workshops, POCs, and converting to production.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Mobility & Security (EMS), Active Directory, Azure AD Connect.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, voice solutions, and collaboration services.
  • Ability to create high- and low-level architecture designs using PowerShell and Graph API.
  • Proven track record in architecting and supporting sales of Microsoft Workplace solutions.
  • Experience in solution selling and managing complex enterprise engagements.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and executive stakeholders.

The Role

As a Presales professional, you’ll co-own Digital Workplace solution sales, business development, and marketing activities within your region. Working closely with Account Managers and Business Development Executives, you’ll lead technical solutioning and pre-sales engagements, ensuring customers receive best-in-class experiences. You’ll also scope professional services opportunities and help deliver Statements of Work (SoW).

This is a proactive role where you’ll drive growth, shape solutions, and act as the technical authority for Digital Workplace offerings.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Account Managers and Business Development Executives to drive new business and expand existing accounts.
  • Lead architectural design sessions, customer workshops, and solution shaping for Digital Workplace projects.
  • Develop high-level designs, Statements of Work, and Bills of Materials for enterprise customers.
  • Prepare cost estimates for licensing, product sales, and professional services.
  • Act as the technical lead for pre-sales engagements and sales enablement activities.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams and partners to ensure successful implementation.
  • Contribute to regional growth through proactive business development and customer acquisition.

What we need to see from you

  • Ability to commute to our office in Kuala Lumpur and visit clients in Malaysia (Full-Time Work Rights in Malaysia preferable)
