Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and passionate Executive Producer to lead the third-generation upgrade and iteration of casual mobile game products in overseas markets. You will be fully responsible for the product's entire lifecycle from creative concept to launch and operation, grasping the latest design trends in casual games, and leading the team to make the product the next global success.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Overall Product Control: Lead the overall direction and vision of casual match-3 games, formulate a clear product roadmap and upgrade strategy, ensure the creative implementation from 0 to 1 and continuous iterative growth from 1 to N, achieving generational leaps in products.
- R&D Coordination and Management: Build and optimize the game R&D pipeline, formulate development milestones and progress plans, coordinate efficient collaboration among various functional teams such as planning, art, and programming; establish cross-team communication mechanisms and processes to ensure smooth information flow and efficient decision-making, completing development goals on time and with high quality.
- Cross-departmental Collaboration: Work closely with user acquisition (UA), marketing and publishing, data analysis, and monetization teams to adjust product direction in a timely manner based on overseas market buying strategies and growth mechanisms; combine market feedback and data insights to formulate game operation activities, payment strategies, and feature update plans, promoting continuous product growth and long-term retention.
- Team Building and Leadership: Recruit, build, and manage the core game R&D team, including key positions such as planning, art, and technology talent; foster a creative and execution-driven team culture, guide and motivate team members to grow, optimize team division of labor and communication, and efficiently produce high-quality content with a team size of 10+ people.
- Quality and Progress Responsibility: Control key milestones and final quality of game development, responsible for product quality, progress, and budget; timely identify and resolve project risks and bottlenecks, ensuring products are launched on schedule and achieve expected user satisfaction and business goals.
- External Collaboration Management: According to project needs, lead or participate in joint development and outsourcing management with overseas partner studios, ensuring cross-cultural teams work collaboratively towards the same goal and deliver high-quality content (if there is an opportunity for joint R&D with internationally renowned game companies, active coordination and communication are required to ensure smooth cooperation).
Job Requirements
- Industry Experience: 8+ years of experience in game development, 3+ years of experience in a core producer/product owner role, deeply cultivated in the mobile casual game field.
- Successful Product Type Experience: Possess successful project experience in casual games such as match-3, stack-match, merge-match, and have led or deeply participated in the development and operation of well-known related products.
- Generational Upgrade Experience: Participated in at least one casual game's upgrade iteration from its first or second generation to its third generation, with a deep understanding of the characteristic evolution, functional innovation, and user expectations of different generational products, and able to apply this experience to the upgrade planning of new products.
- Full Lifecycle Control Capability: Excellent project management and overall planning ability, able to lead products from 0 to 1 (project initiation and development) to 1 to N (version evolution and LiveOps operation), responsible for product quality and progress throughout; familiar with agile development processes, able to formulate clear milestones and drive the team to achieve them.
- Strategic Thinking: Deep understanding of overseas mobile game market user acquisition channels and product growth mechanisms, familiar with media buying, marketing, and monetization strategies; possesses a data-driven mindset, good at guiding product iteration through A/B testing and user data to improve key metrics (retention, LTV, etc.).
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to bridge product, R&D, and operations departments, and closely collaborate with user acquisition, publishing, marketing, and monetization teams to ensure product development aligns with market strategy.
- Team Leadership: Excellent leadership and interpersonal communication skills, good at discovering and nurturing talent. Successfully built and managed cross-functional game development or operations teams of no less than 10 people; able to work in a multicultural environment and motivate teams to achieve high performance.
