Blue Yonder is seeking a Director, Sales Operations in India to support Professional Services Sales and Renewals Partner organizations. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, aligning global teams, and enabling the continued growth of Blue Yonder’s services and renewals business. Responsibilities include strategic planning, process optimization, forecasting, performance management, and seamless collaboration with various departments to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness. The role requires working US business hours while based in India.
Must Have:
  • Act as strategic and operational backbone for Professional Services Sales and Renewals Partner organizations.
  • Partner with Sales & Delivery leadership to design, implement, and optimize sales processes, systems, and policies.
  • Lead forecasting, pipeline management, planning, and business reviews.
  • Align with Software Sales Operations and cross-functional partners for consistency.
  • Deliver actionable insights through dashboards, analytics, and performance metrics.
  • Oversee CRM administration, sales data management, and reporting.
  • Support sales enablement by coordinating training, tools, and resources.
  • Drive continuous improvement and scalable operational excellence.
  • Collaborate effectively across time zones, with flexibility to align with US business hours.
  • 12-16 years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations.
  • At least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience leading a team of Services & Renewal Operations business partners.
  • Strong domain expertise in Professional Services Sales and/or Renewals/Subscription businesses.
  • Proven success in supporting global organizations.
  • Adept at influencing senior stakeholders across Sales, Delivery, Finance, Marketing, Product, and IT.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong program management and change management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with executive presence.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS, Professional Services, and Renewals sales motions.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or other CRM), BI/analytics platforms, and sales operations tools.
  • Strategic thinker with an execution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team in a matrixed global environment.
  • Flexibility to work in US business hours from India.

Scope:

  • Blue Yonder is seeking an accomplished and driven Director, Sales Operations to support our Professional Services Sales and Renewals Partner organizations. Based in India, this role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, aligning global teams, and enabling the continued growth of Blue Yonder’s services and renewals business.
  • Reporting to the Corporate Vice President, Global Sales Operations, the Director will lead the design, execution, and optimization of sales operations to strengthen our Global Services Sales and Renewals organization.
  • This includes strategic planning, process transformation, forecasting, and performance management to enhance sales efficiency and effectiveness. The role also requires seamless collaboration with Software Sales leadership, Software Sales Operations, Professional Services Delivery, Finance, Marketing, Product, and IT to ensure alignment across the revenue engine.
  • The ideal candidate is a strategic operator and trusted partner who thrives in dynamic, fast-paced environments, has a proven record of scaling operations in complex organizations, and demonstrates the ability to influence senior leaders across geographies.
  • To be successful, the Director must also be able to work in US business hours while based in India, ensuring strong engagement with our global sales and renewals teams.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the strategic and operational backbone for Professional Services Sales and Renewals Partner organizations, driving consistency, efficiency, and execution excellence.
  • Partner with Sales & Delivery leadership to design, implement, and optimize sales processes, systems, and policies that enhance productivity, scalability, and effectiveness.
  • Lead forecasting, pipeline management, planning, and business reviews to ensure predictable growth and informed decision-making.
  • Align with Software Sales Operations and cross-functional partners (Delivery, Finance, Marketing, Product, IT) to ensure consistency in segmentation, territory design, quota setting, compensation, and execution of growth initiatives.
  • Deliver actionable insights through dashboards, analytics, and performance metrics to monitor sales effectiveness and drive accountability.
  • Oversee CRM administration, sales data management, and reporting to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Support sales enablement by coordinating training, tools, and resources to improve team performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement and scalable operational excellence, identifying gaps and implementing process enhancements.
  • Collaborate effectively across time zones, with flexibility to align with US business hours.

What we are looking for:

  • An MBA or advanced degree in Business, Operations, or related field or 12 to 16 years of progressive experience in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, or Business Operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Experience leading a team of Services & Renewal Operations business partners
  • Experience in formulating Services Sales Strategy, leading forecasting, pipeline management, territory/quota design, and compensation planning.
  • Strong domain expertise in Professional Services Sales and/or Renewals/Subscription businesses within enterprise software or technology industries.
  • Proven success in supporting global organizations, balancing regional needs with global priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and recommendations.
  • Adept at influencing senior stakeholders across Sales, Delivery, Finance, Marketing, Product, and IT functions.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Strong program management and change management skills.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with executive presence and the ability to influence without authority.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS, Professional Services, and Renewals sales motions.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce (or other CRM), BI/analytics platforms, and sales operations tools.
  • Strategic thinker with an execution-oriented mindset; able to dive into details without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team in a matrixed global environment.
  • Flexibility to work in US business hours from India to effectively collaborate with global teams.
