Must Have

Job Description

We are seeking a Distribution Engineer with demonstrated expertise in electrical distribution to join our growing team in NSW. We have opportunities to work with key clients in the electrical utilities space locally and nationally, join us on our growth journey as we expand our capabilities across the region!

You will also be responsible for:

  • Lead project delivery for key distribution projects across NSW and supporting project deliverables interstate as and when required
  • Detailed design for distribution overhead lines, underground cable network and substations
  • Work with the NSW Technical Lead to build the presence across NSW and contribute to growing the local team
  • Support with the preparation of project and bid documentation as required
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project outcomes are achieved

Qualifications

To be successful in this opportunity, you will ideally have a minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in a similar role within a NSW utility or design house working on electrical transmission projects. In addition, you will also have:

  • An Electrical Engineering Degree with ability to obtain NER registration
  • Relevant work rights to live and work full-time in Australia
  • Full drivers license
  • Demonstrated expertise with overhead and underground distribution system design
  • Ability to attend site and undertake site visits
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
  • Proven ability to manage projects across all lifecycles to exceed client’s expectations
  • Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills to manage stakeholders at all levels
