Early Childhood Educator - Trainee Assistant/Apprentice

Building Futures Montessori is seeking Early Childhood Educators (Trainee Assistant/Apprentice) for its Exceeding Rated Montessori childcare environment in Blackstone, QLD. This full-time role offers opportunities for individuals starting their career or qualified educators looking to advance. Trainees will study Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care and Montessori Education, while Apprentices will pursue Diploma qualifications. The role emphasizes a 'Safe, Smiling and Smart' philosophy, providing a supportive environment with strong mentoring and sponsored Montessori training.

Must Have

• Willingness to enrol in and complete ECEC and Montessori Early Childhood Education qualifications.
• Hold or be eligible to apply for a valid paid Blue Card (WWC).
• For Apprentices: Hold Cert III Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121 or CHC30113).
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.

About The Roles - Trainees, Apprentices and Qualified Educators

• Trainees - entry level early childhood education assistant opportunity, kick-start your career and be paid while you study Cert III in Early Childhood Education and Care and Certificate III Montessori Education.
• Apprentices - advance your career by studying Diploma qualifications in ECEC and Montessori Early Childhood Education. Candidates must already hold Cert III Early Childhood Education and Care (CHC30121 or CHC30113).
• Diploma Qualified Educators - gain Montessori qualifications with future potential for advancement into senior roles.

Full Time opportunities available, shifts rostered between 6:15am and 5:30pm.

\* Please note, the pay rate for Trainees is based on the Miscellaneous Award, National Training wage.

No Montessori experience is required, however upon appointment all Educators will be supported to complete Montessori qualifications through our affiliated training college, MECTA https://MECTA.edu.au/

• Demonstrated commitment/achievement in schooling, community, sport/hobbies.
• Willingness to enrol in and complete ECEC AND Montessori Early Childhood Education qualifications.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and learning.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication.
• Hold or be eligible to apply for a valid paid Blue Card (WWC). Restricted persons need not apply.
