Job Description

Within the Vehicles and Tactical Systems activity, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site specializes in the production of land and airborne weapon systems, force protection systems, and zone control. This role involves ensuring the production and testing of electronic equipment, assembling, wiring, integrating, and bonding products according to operating procedures, controlling with test means, and maintaining equipment.

Must Have:
  • Ensure the production and testing of electronic equipment
  • Assemble / wire / integrate / bond products according to operating procedures
  • Control using test equipment and report any difficulties
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment
  • Perform first-level preventive maintenance
  • Ensure conformity and condition of equipment
  • Mastery of Lean
  • Knowledge of IPC610A and IPC7711 standards
  • Experience in electronic wiring
  • Experience in manual soldering / desoldering
  • Ability to read electronic plans and schematics
  • Ability to use electronic test equipment (ohmmeter / oscilloscope, etc.)

Your daily life

Within the Vehicles and Tactical Systems activity, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site specializes in the production of land and airborne weapon systems (mortars, ammunition, rockets, etc.), force protection systems, and zone control. With its 450 employees, engineers, technicians, and specialized workers, the La Ferté Saint Aubin site ensures research and development, production, testing, as well as all the "support" functions necessary for the design of high-performance systems essential to the success of operational missions. Thales has formed, with the German defense group DIEHL, a Joint-Venture "JUNGHANS T2M" which has 165 employees, allowing the two companies to combine their electronic and precision mechanics skills and thus become one of the world leaders in the field of ammunition fuses. This Joint-Venture is also present on the La Ferté Saint Aubin site.

  • Ensure the production and testing of electronic equipment
  • Assemble / wire / integrate / bond products according to operating procedures;

Your profile

Are you passionate about electronic series production and master Lean? Do you enjoy working cross-functionally with teams and are comfortable with communication? Do you have knowledge of IPC610A and IPC7711 standards?

You have experience in:

  • Electronic wiring;
  • Manual soldering / desoldering;
  • Reading electronic plans and schematics
  • Using electronic test equipment (ohmmeter / oscilloscope, etc.)
