The EVS Operator will work with the production department during live streams, responsible for editing and playback highlights and packages, and handling content as needed. They will utilize EVS systems for editing highlights and sound bites, manage file transfers, and clip segments for re-air and organic moments. The operator will also be responsible for searching and logging video clips using EVS IP director and supporting video ingest for live shows. This role requires quick turnaround and ability to work under pressure.

Must have:

2 years experience in live broadcast operations
1 year EVS experience
Understanding of live stream workflows
Knowledge of digital video formats
Strong knowledge of EVS XS
Proficient with computers and office software

Good to have:

Understanding of content delivery platforms
Strong knowledge of File based workflow
Understanding of FTP and downloading and uploading process
Excellent interpersonal & communications skills
Strong work ethic and positive attitude

We are Looking for:

The EVS Operator will be required to perform multiple job functions. This person will work with the production department during live streams. This person should have the ability to perform fundamental and advanced EVS operations. This includes basic editing, building & playing back playlists often while supporting a live show. The EVS Operator should be able to work in high pressure situations sometimes with a quick or immediate turnaround. This is a fully on-site position on a temporary part-time/ad-hoc basis.

Job Responsibilities:

Edit and playback highlights, sound, & packages for live streams.
Responsible for record, edit, and playback all content as needed.
Editing highlights, and turnaround sound bites, using EVS Clips & Playlists.
Storage and transfer of files using EVS xfile program.
Clip off segments of the show for re-air.
Clip organic moments in real time to be used for sizzle.
Searching and logging video clips using EVS IP director.
Responsible for transfers, digitizing or any other video ingest support for live shows.

Qualifications and Experience:

At least 2 years of experience in live broadcast facility operations; minimum of one year EVS experience
Understanding of live stream and post production workflows
Understanding of digital video and audio formats
Understanding of content delivery platforms and how they use video
Strong knowledge of EVS XS for live production playout
Strong knowledge of File based workflow
Understanding of FTP and the downloading and uploading process
Proficient with computers and office software
Excellent interpersonal & communications skills required
Strong work ethic, positive attitude & leadership qualities with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities a must

Compensation & Benefits:

Compensation range for this position $65-$80/hour.
