Flying Bark Productions is working on exciting projects such as Avatar: The Last Airbender feature film, Netflix's Stranger Things animated series, as well as our production Tales From Outer Suburbia by Shaun Tan.
We are looking for a motivated and experienced Executive Assistant to join our studio’s growing team! You’ll be part of a collaborative, inclusive group who thrives on problem-solving as a team. The primary function of this role is to provide administrative support to the Executive Producer and Co-Executive Producer of a high-profile CG animated series under the guidance of the Producer.
This role is located onsite in our office.
About the Role:
- Proactively manage complex calendars, ensuring obligations and deadlines are met efficiently and that any scheduling issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings with meticulous attention to detail, working with both internal teams and external partners across multiple time zones.
- Assist with email management, prioritizing urgent correspondence and tracking follow-up items.
- Prepare materials for meetings, presentations, and other events.
- Arrange travel and accommodations.
- Arrange meal orders as required by production.
- Handle sensitive and confidential materials with discretion.
- Collaborate with production teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- As this role will support the Co-Executive Producer/SVP of Creative for Flying Bark LA, will require management of competing priorities/requests across multiple projects.
About You:
- Previous experience supporting executive or senior-level leadership, especially in animation, film, television, or comparative fields.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Must be detail-oriented and organized.
- Able to prioritize and multitask.
- Ability to think outside the box when needed.
- Ability to anticipate needs and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic production environment.
- Must be flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed.
- Must be a team player with a positive attitude.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency with Google Workspace applications is a must. (Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Sheets, Google Docs, etc.)
- A passion for animation, film, TV, or games.
