Job Description

Join the Vélizy campus, which hosts a wide diversity of Thales activities. Directly reporting to the Program Director for the LAS GBU, you will contribute to the success of a transformation project aimed at improving the GBU's operational performance. You will be responsible for the operational monitoring and governance of the program for LAS (planning, delivery, risk management, reporting) until deployment is finalized.

Must Have:
  • Assist the program director in structuring the program, defining strategy, implementation, and delivery.
  • Monitor program progress, including consolidated planning and workload.
  • Develop, maintain, and track weekly consolidated key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop, maintain, and track monthly consolidated risk register.
  • Participate in PMO team reviews to present planning updates, forecasts, and identify deviations.
  • Collaborate with GBU stakeholders to understand analytical needs and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure interface with the central project team's PMO office.
  • Assist the program director in preparing steering committees and associated deliverables.
  • Guarantee proper feeding of the project's documentary repository.
  • Experience in complex transformation projects (multi-entity, multi-country).
  • Proficiency in complex Project Management methodology.
  • Experience in preparing internal reporting for complex programs.
  • Mastery of Office pack tools (Excel, Powerpoint, POWERBI, MSProjects).
  • Knowledge of planning tools (Primavera or others).
  • Fluent English in an international context.

Your daily life

Located west of Paris, this site offers a work environment equipped with the latest technological innovations and provides services that help reconcile professional and personal life.

Directly reporting to the Program Director for the LAS (Land & Air System) GBU, you will contribute directly to the success of this transformation project, which aims notably to improve the operational performance of the GBU.

You will be responsible for the operational monitoring and governance of the program for LAS (planning, delivery, risk management, reporting) until the deployment is finalized.

1. You assist the program director in structuring the program, defining the strategy, implementing, and delivering.

2. You particularly ensure the monitoring of the program's progress:

  • Develop and maintain the consolidated planning as well as the program's workload plan
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure weekly monitoring of the delivery of consolidated key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure monthly monitoring of the consolidated risk register
  • Participate in PMO team reviews to present planning updates, forecasts until completion, identification of deviations, and opportunities for improvement
  • You work closely with the various stakeholders of the GBU (process owners, SME, ...) to understand their analytical needs, particularly by identifying key indicators and critical metrics, and provide actionable analyses to relevant decision-makers
  • You ensure the interface with the PMO office of the central project team
  • You assist the program director in preparing the various steering bodies, management committees, and associated deliverables

3. You are responsible for the proper feeding of the project's documentary repository

Profile

Holding a BAC+5 (Master's degree), you have skills/experience in:

  • Complex transformation projects, preferably multi-entity, multi-country/entity.
  • Complex Project Management methodology.
  • Preparation of internal reporting for complex programs.
  • Office pack tools (Excel, Powerpoint, POWERBI, MSProjects) and have knowledge of planning tools (Primavera or others).
  • An international context where English is commonly used.
