Job Summary

We are looking for an Experienced Technical Artist to join our team in Shanghai. You will be responsible for writing shaders to meet art requirements, improving project technology, setting art standards, and assisting artists with engine tools and resource production. The role involves developing tools using scripts to enhance art effects. Candidates should possess a strong aesthetic sense, solid art foundation, and be familiar with art workflows, game development processes, and performance optimization. Proficiency in Shader, computer graphics, 3D math, data structures, Unity, Houdini, and Python is essential.

Must Have

  • Possess good aesthetic sense and solid art foundation, with good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Familiar with art workflow, project competitive analysis, rendering effects, art production, performance standards, resource/performance optimization, and art workflow optimization.
  • Familiar with game development processes, capable of reasonable work task allocation, strong self-learning ability, good at problem-solving, good expression and organizational skills, and strong sense of responsibility.
  • Proficient in Shader, computer graphics fundamentals, 3D math fundamentals, data structures fundamentals.
  • Familiar with Unity Editor extension, Houdini, and Python.

Good to Have

  • Experience with at least one complete SLG project is preferred.

1. Write shaders to meet art-related requirements and cooperate with the art team to improve the actual performance of existing project technologies in products.

2. Formulate art solutions and art specifications.

3. Work with artists to solve problems encountered in the daily use of tools and engines.

4. Assist artists in completing art resource production within the engine.

5. Develop tools to improve art effects using scripts.
