Job Summary
At Cergy, you will contribute to some of the world's most sophisticated training and simulation systems. Within the Design Authorities Team, you will be responsible for sharing your hardware expertise in mechanical, electronic, and electrical aspects, studying and approving Design Validation Forms, and supporting technical teams to strengthen their solutions and develop their skills. You are an engineer with confirmed experience in hardware development and architecture, possessing solid skills in integrated, electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems design.

The Cergy site (400 people) produces civil and military training and simulation systems: flight and mission simulators for planes, helicopters, vehicles, land weapons, and energy, for France and internationally.
Within the Design Authorities Team, you will be responsible for:
- Sharing your hardware expertise in hardware aspects (choosing the most suitable commercial solutions) as well as mechanical, electronic, and electrical.
- Studying and approving Design Validation Forms (a central document for a call for tenders, a product, or a project that consolidates all critical points of the solution both technically and in terms of competitiveness stakes and necessary means).
- Supporting our technical teams to strengthen the solutions they propose and to participate in the development of their professional skills.
Who are you?
- An engineer by training, you possess confirmed experience in hardware development and architecture, particularly in mechanical and electronic aspects.
- You possess, in particular, solid skills in integrated systems design, electrical and electronic, or mechanical.
- You have the interpersonal skills that combine rigor in evaluating files and benevolence in presenting them to teams.
- You combine a good level of technical expertise with the necessary pedagogy to effectively disseminate it within the teams, to help them grow, and to engage them in improvement initiatives.
- You know how to demonstrate the curiosity, audacity, and even disruption necessary to anticipate our clients' needs and make our offers and projects attractive without putting them at risk during their realization.
- You are capable of evolving in a complex environment where competitive constraints often require reconciling costs, deadlines, and technical quality without discrimination.
