Job Summary
As an Establishment Security Officer at Thales' Elancourt site, you will be responsible for ensuring defense and heritage security, maintaining a working environment compliant with market and defense activity requirements. This involves continuously updating security files, conducting site safety missions in collaboration with other teams, and performing periodic risk analyses. You will also organize regular awareness sessions for employees, manage sensitive information, protect company assets, and provide crucial support for projects to ensure regulatory compliance. Additionally, you will oversee site visits, administrative investigations, manage guarding services, and participate in crisis management and business continuity planning.
Must Have
- Ensure defense and heritage security compliance.
- Update security files and adhere to defense secret protection policy.

Your daily life
At the heart of Saint Quentin en Yvelines, the Elancourt site is one of Thales' most important technological excellence centers. The diversity and technicality of the systems and equipment mobilize expertise in more than 80 professions in defense, high-tech security, and digital services solutions.
Hierarchically and functionally attached to the Central Security Officer of Thales Services Numériques. Your missions are:
- Ensure the various missions related to Defense Security and the Heritage of the Sites, Security and Establishment Directorate to guarantee a working environment compliant with the requirements of defense markets and activities;
- Permanently update the security file and comply with the defense secret protection policy;
- Carry out site security missions and activities in liaison with the security teams of other companies present on the Elancourt site;
- Periodically update risk analyses;
- Regularly organize awareness sessions for employees;
- Manage and protect sensitive information related to markets;
- Protect the company's assets;
- Provide support for offers and projects to ensure compliance with regulations, group directives, and administrative authority requirements;
- Manage all visits and circulation of employees and persons external to Thales Services Numériques on its site;
- Manage administrative investigation files for employees and the holding of sensitive information;
- Manage guarding/reception services;
- Participate in client or certification audits, implying mastery of site procedures and knowledge that may exceed the scope of the position;
- Participate in various co-site meetings and integrate into its life;
- Participate, within the framework of your functions, in maintaining good exchanges with representatives of state services and security officers of our partners;
- Prepare inspections and audits related to defense security;
- Assist in crisis management cells;
- Organize business continuity on its site.
Your profile:
You have a strong sense for human relations and a developed sense of service;
You have very good knowledge of regulations related to secret protection (IGI 1300, IM 900…);
You know how to prioritize your activities and manage multiple subjects simultaneously, while maintaining constantly open communication, without however disclosing what is confidential;
You have public speaking skills to be able to conduct awareness actions;
Proactive, autonomous, and meticulous, you know how to show initiative and anticipation;
You know how to be proactive in your field of activity and have team management skills;
You master IT tools (Office Pack: Word, Excel, Powerpoint), have good writing skills, and know how to respect and enforce current protocols;
Knowledge of THOMA’S software (habilitation management…) would be appreciated.
